Nuovo Restaurant

A lovely restaurant, friendly staff and an interesting menu, complemented by the wine list. The interior is divided into two areas, the main floor and a raised area at the end for a further half dozen tables or so. The interior is subdued, with soft ambient lighting, and drapes suspended from the ceiling roof trusses, which are part of the original building. Conversation is made so much easier for those of us who are hard of hearing, because sound is easily absorbed by the interior fittings. A lovely night out and definitely a restaurant to return to!

Saffron Northampton

A genuine 5 star experience. A little pricey but the food and the service was exceptional. Rana the manager made us very welcome and even made us an aubergine side dish which was a highlight.The menu is interesting with some novel dishes. They can also make things that may not appear on the menu.Nice fresh herbs and spices. One of the best overall Indian meals. Would recommend for a special occasion.Lovely friendly staff.

Amazing Sunday Roast .The Beef was so good melted in the mouth. The Veg were cooked Beautifully and the portion size was very good for people with larger appetites. Couldn't find anything to fault will definitely be returning .

Came on a quiet Tuesday night for dinner. The pub itself is lovely, not as run down as people have made it sound. Staff was great, very attentive. Food was all very nice and fresh, had the Pie of the day which was steak and ale, lots of steak! The desserts all looked great too, but was too stuffed from the main (food portions!) to have one. Will be back.

Very friendly staff and great food. We had a table of 14 for my son’s 21st and nothing was too much trouble. They even brought the birthday cake out on a trolley and turned the lights off to get a better effect of the candles.The food was delicious and very good value for money. No mistakes with the order. Everything came out more or less together. Takeaway cartons were provided for a couple of the guests to take leftovers home. That’s how nice the meal was… what they couldn’t eat, they wanted to take home. The bonus part is you can take your own drinks too which helps keep costs down. It was a Monday night just before January pay day so wasn’t busy, so I can’t say much about the atmosphere, but it felt nice for us.Will definitely be back and will try the takeaway too.

Came here with 8 friends last night after booking somewhere else who couldn’t honour our booking. Food and service here were both excellent and they even managed a birthday celebration for me all without prior booking. Would highly recommend and will definitely come here

Would definitely go back! Food was delicious. Service superb. Restaurant clean inc toilets. Great variety of burgers, which were cooked beautifully. Only criticism is that the menu needs to be more explanatory. E.g. dirty fries??? Doesn't tell you what that means. Otherwise if you've never been it's defo worth a visit.

Moosteak

I went for my birthday for the platter I had spotted online. However, this was something they no longer did. Despite this they made a bespoke platter starter and main for 4 on the spot which was amazing. Burgers and steaks, sides and veg included. All tasted amazing and seasoned so well. Great birthday meal.

Cake Inn

Cake was absolutely fantastic! Looked better than I would have imagined and tasted delicious! The women in the store was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be using again!!!

We had a delightful Mother’s Day lunch and were looked after superbly by Henry and Becky. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The choice and quality of the food was excellent. Came for the charity curry and quiz night and really enjoyed the food, drinks and service, plus it was a fun atmosphere with the quiz. Loved the presentation of the food it was very beautiful and went beyond your average Indian restaurant food presentation. Don't know what it's like there if it's not a quiz night but I'd recommend giving it a try!

Visited today with a friend for the bottomless brunch, it was amazing and will definitely go back. Lots of food to choose from on the menu as well as lots of cocktails, pints and all the main spirits if you didn't want cocktails. Well worth the money, the staff were great, really friendly and helpful and we had a great time, highly recommend!

Cromwell Cottage Northampton

Honestly, somehow Cromwell Cottage has managed to balance the atmosphere of a warm pub, with restaurant standard food and Jess who served us was exceptional (great sense of humour, with a lovely balance between being attentive and giving us space to enjoy our dinner).The lamb shank was ridiculously good. And who knew you could make a chip out of dauphinois potatoes - life changing!We feel very lucky to have CC so close to us. Really treat. Love it!

Lunchtime out after a visit to Whilton Marina. Last here three years ago and always said that we'd be back. For a lunchtime the pub was packed, but a couple of tables available. Timothy Taylor on handpump was excellent, as was the food. Served quickly, was piping hot and plentiful and excellent vfm. Lovely village pub, nice welcome and we will be back!

Out with friends for a meal and a catch up. We were served by Glenn who was very chatty and looked after us well.Disappointing that a few things from the main menu we requested were not available. Glenn recommended the chicken burger and it didn’t disappoint when we eventually got our meals. The portion sizes are generous, the atmosphere is great, I enjoyed the themed ambiance, although it's a bit pricey, the staff is excellent. The food is delicious and satisfying.

Amazing place just as reviews stated. New to Northampton, so visited this place to pickup Indian takeaway. Dishes was wonderful, delicious and adequate quantity with great quality. Sylheti Starter and Golden Pappadom Biryani was amazing. Would recommend definitely recommend as staff are very polite, courteous and attentive when taking orders and preparing them. Karmana

Had gone vegan for a while, for ethical and health optimisation reasons, but had been really uninspired by the food from a taste and choice perspective. Tried Karmana on a whim. The food was excellent. Really flavoursome and satisfying. Didn't miss the meat at all. There's even decent vegan wine available. Went back for a takeaway, but sadly the service wasn't quite as good... no cards taken, had to go to a machine round the corner to get cash out, went back to be told she then had no change, so had go back out to a shop to get change. Apart from this, well worth a visit otherwise.

Ecton One

Just Eat delivery and my first take-away from Ecton One. Very impressed by the quality, quantity and taste of the food. Stuck with a Chicken Tikka Massala, Saag Aloo, Peshwari Naan and meta samosa’s. All were fantastic, hot and tasty. Rounded off with the complimentary popadoms, onions, salad and sauce. Will definitely be trying something else on the menu and maybe pop in next time. Thank you ?

I stopped to buy an egg and mayo sandwich meal deal for my lunch and I also bought hot cross buns and daffodils for my Mum and some reduced cream cakes for a treat.There's often reduced bargains here (it's an M&S food).The shop and forecourt are always clean and tidy and the staff are friendly.

Definetely recommended. Always come here to grab some petrol for my car as its usually the cheapest station to go to still go here and since I passed which was over a year now I've come here for petrol each time, when I walk in always get hello used to come here often when I went to TBH to grab a muffin and one of the staff always knows I get it everytime, Luci is very nice too majority of there staff gives a warm smile is well however do have 2 issues. 1. Cars parked in the petrol bays & Air Bays preventing people from getting fuel and air for there vehicles or there messing around 2. Space between the pumps are small as the vehicles are getting bigger by the year and some struggle so it is worth to look into renovating the pumps a little more space however overall nice security guards too. One of the better local McDonald's. Never had cold food here and never had to return anything, unlike Rothwell, Northampton Riverside and Market Harborough. Service is good for a busy takeaway

Reasonable amount of parking disabled parking available but no child bays continuing with the external areas there where rubbish bins available and the area directly surrounding was clean and no rubbish further afield from this establishment, internal there toilets available which are not of great size but still space to move, but they are clean and small fresh. There iPads for the kids to use while waiting for their meals and the table service was adequate the wait time was not extensive even though it was lunch time at a weekend

We met up with friends at the Greyhound today, we usually meet here a couple of times a year as it is halfway for us. Not sure we liked the new menu so much. First visit to celebrate a family birthday. Easy to book a table online. Staff accommodated change of time on the day due to travel delays. Good range of food on the menu. A pre-order for a large group meant a 40 minute delay which was challenging with a toddler in our group. We made use of the garden to help with this delay. Food was fine. Service and atmosphere was friendly. Large car park. Toilets not so good for changing the toddler.Kid-friendliness: Friendly family atmosphere

Nice pub! The locals are a little bit clicky but theres a nice open fire in the snug and a pool table round the other end of the main bar area. Will absolutely go again sometime.

A good English pub with a typical village pub atmosphere, the beer is good, especially the Guiness, plenty of choice and served with a smile and great banter. Very much a local clientele but in no way are visitors excluded. We did not eat here but the food looked good, though the choice was quite basic. If locals eat there it must be OK.

Knightley Arms

We had a really lovely Sunday roast today. The owner could not be more accommodating and even helped out with a problem we had earlier on in the morning. Our waitress was so lovely. Pleasant and polite and made our dining experience really lovely. I would recommend the pub and the food to anyone.

Imran Balti Hut

Came here on Saturday night. Food was really tasty with plenty of spice. Service was great and staff was pleasant. Reasonabley priced too. Our only downfall was we noticed the poppadom dips we're sitting uncovered on shelves to the rear of the restaurant and when they came to the table the yogurt dip was warm. Also the keema Naan bread didn't come with coloured spiced meat. Every where we've been it's usually served reddish in colour with spices inside. Other than that we had a great evening and we will be back. ?

Been here twice in the last few months and both times the food has been wonderful. The portions are large and we had several different dishes which were all so tasty. Defo recommend this place, the prices are reasonable and the service efficient and friendly.

Without a doubt the best takeaway in town across all cuisines. The team at Kingsthorpe are just built different. They also arrive early or on time with pizza piping hot. Dominos look like a Mickey mouse joint compared to Papa John's.

Burger King

Staffs were very friendly and the food served was hot. I liked the way the staff and the manager cared about the customers and the overall dining experience with the music was very much ambient. The Female Manager was very polite and always smiled.

Nando's Northampton - Market Square

We booked for a big table of 15 yesterday and the staff were absolutely fantastic! The kind lady at the till was very accommodating and patient with me when I had a very large order. She helped to bring all the glasses to the table and checked that we were all okay. We accidentally made an erroneous order which they swiftly offered to refund even though it was my fault! I would say this has been my most favourite experience at a Nando’s restaurant so far. The food was fantastic and they served the group at similar times!

We did a tour of the Abbey then the tasting menu with wine flight. Wonderful evening. Such a warm, relaxing atmosphere and the food was excellent. No hesitation in recommending.

Just completed brewery tour. Really interesting and some great beer samples. Sunday roast is fantastic too. Friendly and great atmosphere. Well done and keep going!

Kerala Hut

As someone from Kerala, I had one of the best Kerala food experience in UK from Kerala Hut Northhampton. I do need to mention about Muhsin, who was absolutely amazing, not only he was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu he went above and beyond in helping me out with a personal request which he didn't have to. As an Hotelier, I strongly believe people makes the biggest difference and Muhsin is definitely one of the people who makes that difference. Thank you so much for the amazing food and impeccable service.

Bought cheese salad 6 inch sub which was tasty, the italian herb and cheese sub is really nice. Bought a foot long ham and cheese for my son. Popular place, long queue.

Believe this was very first kebab shop in Northampton I've been a customer many years but moved away so only go Istanbul chef on rare occasions ...what I would say is it is a great place n George the owner a top man ..great

Granny's Cafe

Been to this little gem twice now on the way to visit my nieces in Northampton. The food and service is spot on. Its now our go to breakfast venue when heading to Northampton. Highly recommend. Its a busy little place so always wise to call and book a table.

The Shed Cafe

What a little gem, I knew it was here, just never tried it before. Very popular so can get busy, however it does open at 8am.Had a bacon baguette to go as was busy, it was huge. The Charles Bradlaugh

Had such a fantastic time here. We reserved an area for a hen party that included a private bar and were very well looked after by the fabulous bar staff for the whole night. We had a large food order that was served promptly and was delicious- highly recommend the steak fries! The bar staff organised cocktails, and Prosecco served beautifully in stands on the bar. The atmosphere was lively with great music. Couldn’t fault a thing. A special thanks to Trav for ensuring everything ran seamlessly and being a good sport during the games!

Dreams Coffee Lounge

This review is on behalf of my good friend Joe.We are currently at our local dog shelter enjoy a lovely vodka shandy (50/50 lemonade and vodka by the pint). Anyways, Joe started talking about how he went to Dreams Coffee Lounge & it was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC (His exact words).I know for a fact that Joe can be picky about his coffee, this one time I got him a flat white instead of a cappuccino and he Locked me in his basement for 2 weeks. Such a tart!Anyways, apparently here, he had the most perfect cappuccino. The temperature, the chocolate and the coffee... DELIGHTFUL!The only criticism he had was that there wasn't any door handles on the train home?Thank you Dream's for making my friends dream come true!

Thankyou to the staff and management of the White Elephant for making the opening of the baseball season really memorable for me. I was visiting from the U.S. and they were kind enough to open the pub early so I was able to see the game. The staff were friendly and accommodating in every way.

Visited this quirky little place for a gigwith the T Bone Afrika All Stars featuring The Pink Singers. Had a fantastic time. The atmosphere in there is brilliant. I had food and to be honest I wasnt expecting much for the price, but it was lovely, top nosh! That with cheap booze and fab staff, what more do you need.

The Good Loaf

I must share !! as a family member provided a sour dough loaf with cheese and marmite as part of the Christmas buffet. To begin with I was unsure what this would taste like but I can honestly say it was the nicest bread I have ever had! The next day it was just as delicious toasted with thick butter. I will definitely be purchasing this myself 10/10

Had a fantastic experience here at Manna. Ordered the chatti chor and it was amazing. It was super filling and the flavours were authentic and delicious. Took me back home for a while :)

Food is DELICIOUS. I haven't eaten better kebab since I left Poland and came to UK. Even better then Kurdish Shawarma although prices are a bit high. I decided to pop in for a coffee today as I seen a sign for Yellow Bourbon Coffee. I had a Chai Latte and my mum had a Cappuccino, both absolutely delicious! The shop is full of character and very clean. I look forward to trying their pizzas next.
