Me and my wife had our wedding reception here. To be honest, the venue is brilliant for parties but I wouldn’t say the same for wedding receptions. The vibe of the venue is lovely and very much up our street hi hence why we chose here but there are some things we were really happy with but also not quite happy with. The organisation I would say needs some work, me and my wife were due to get married this year in July and we consistently chased the owner to prepare for our special day however it all seemed very last minute to get us in to discuss our day, and this was after we had messaged her consistently. Our actual wedding day was beautiful, the venue was stunning but that was down to my mum she had fully decorated the venue and it was stunning. However, me and my wife had to wait anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour for our first drink. We had requested nozecco because we don’t drink. And the reasoning was because it had been left “at home”. I’m sorry but on our wedding day this really wasn’t good enough. In terms of catering we paid £10 a head and to be honest there wasn’t enough food. We had requested a “street style” buffet. There were burgers, hotdogs and things like that but they were tiny and we had requested for these to be for meat eaters, vegetarian and gluten free and there was absolutely no balance. There was basically no vegetarian options. And our niece and nephew got served sausages and beans ( almost an hour after the first lot of food came out) people started to leave at an early ish time and me and my wife headed home around 9.30pm because we were headed to our honeymoon to santorini a few days following. However we were made aware that the owner was very rude at around 10pm forcing people to leave because there wasn’t enough people. I’m sorry but if a venue has been hired for a night this is really rude. Me and my wife had a good time but weeks since had time to reflect on our special day. We decided to send feedback to the owner not expecting anything back other than things to potentially improve on future wedding receptions. However, without exaggerating they were super unprofessional and started mentioning their mental health and that we were having an impact on that, sorry but we both suffer from mental health problems and regardless as a professional this is none of our business. A refund was offered 2 weeks after this conversation so obviously we accepted. We then messaged 2 weeks after and she was rude and said she had seeked “ legal advice” and won’t be giving a refund. We literally didn’t even care about a refund in the first place we wanted just to offer feedback which any professional should be able to take on board. I’m really really shocked and disgusted with the text messages I have on my phone from this woman and the fact she was consistently ringing my wife after sending feedback this isn’t on. Even though we had heard things from others about her standard of professionalism we trusted her, can’t say I’d trust her again.Also she got our “first dance” song wrong. Big mistake.Would never ever reccommend. Owner is patronising, and extremely unprofessional please don’t go here.

A few weeks ago I threw an impromptu hen do for my friend here. It was a Saturday so very busy but Sarah and the team did a brilliant job accommodating us. The food and drink was amazing, beautiful decor and the karaoke made it! Thank you so much guys - highly recommend. This place is a gem!

This place is great, I had my 40th here and it's certainly great for private parties. But also not to be missed for brunches/lunches/coffee breaks. Sarah and Dave are great hosts and have a great team who are always polite and helpful. **Recommended**
Really gone downhill… last few times I’ve tried it’s lost it’s magicWhen it first opened years back the food was some of the best in Northampton, but now seems to be lacking in flavour - not sure if it’s changed ingredients or chef or what but the food really hasn’t been great over the last year or two.Think they need to focus a lot more on the food and less on DJ nights

You should take care to understand your costumers experience and do your best to resolve the problem rather than making ridiculous accusations.
