£17 for a lamb shish delivered with 4 pieces of lamb in it.??? Had to order chips (which I don’t eat) to make the minimum order.Shocking.It used to be the best kebab house in town.I won’t be ordering from them EVER again.

Absolutely shocking, I meant to put a review on after we ordered but I forgot all about this until I went to look elsewhere for veggie kebabs tonight. Normally when we get a good veggie kebab it consists of peppers, mushrooms & onions. This had brocolli, carrots n Brussels sprouts I know it was Xmas but what on earth were they thinking, seriously did not go with thr sauces. Whomever come up with that mix has no right to be in any kitchen!Vegetarian options: Don't order if you are vegetarian, really bad!
Service 10/10. Food was amazing and staff are really nice. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Placed an order requesting delivery food eventually arrived 1hr late spoke directly to them and all they kept says was traffic was bad. 1hr to do a 15 minute journey is just an excuse poor customer service. Will never use again very poor service all round.

My God this has gone downhill, years ago it was so good. For a start, I had to repeat my order four times to an abrupt member of staff; the burgers menu clearly states "all burgers come with chips and drink" on the sign yet he insisted on charging me for the latter two in addition (disgraceful, that is not only not a meal deal, the items are specifically mentioned for a meal deal). The food was barely edible, horrible chewy chips, sloppy burger etc. and tired salad which had probably been sitting there for an age. I won't ever use this place again.

Worst food and service ever. Ordered a beef burger which they claim is “100% real beef” - clearly not. The meat was clearly processed and tasted bland and looked like a piece of rubber. The chips were hard and dry. It had been sat out for a while so they had completely dried out. I threw it in the bin and saved myself from getting ill eating this meal. I also received verbally racial abuse which the guy thought he was being funny - it was rude and horrible. You would think being an ethnic minority he would have some common sense. I am utterly disgusted and will never ever eat there again.

Believe this was very first kebab shop in Northampton I've been a customer many years but moved away so only go Istanbul chef on rare occasions ...what I would say is it is a great place n George the owner a top man ..great

I have been coming here for years and after tonight I will not be going back. Only one word I can use and that is RUDE. The man behind the counter is so rude. I asked a simple question about my food that I was buying and was meet with arrogance and have I mentioned rudeness. The food was not nice and could not be eaten and considering his reply to my question he lied.I will not be going back.

As a regular customer I am unhappy with the change of management, quality of food is poor, ordered a shish kebab with 4 pieces of dry chicken, lacking on salad and was very dry. I will be going to another kebab shop from now on! Such a shame!
£6.50 for 4 tiny chunks of chicken for a small shish kebab a. Cooked to death too. I would not bother.

Gone right down hill - spoke to five different people simply trying to order a delivery got phone put down three times . Now I remember why I stopped using that take out - there are far better ones about ! Rubbish service can’t comment on food as I couldn’t even get understood on phone to place order ! They just simply put phone down .

DO NOT ORDER FROM ISTANBUL CHEF, NORTHAMPTON! I received the wrong order. When I called the restaurant, they explained that they didn't have the item I had ordered in stock, so they sent me something else. I expressed my dissatisfaction and said that they should have contacted me. I requested they collect the food I didn’t order and give me a refund, but they abruptly ended the call and blocked my number. It was an extremely disappointing customer service experience. I will not order from there again.
