Japanese Restaurants in Northampton

“I enjoyed my experience here and the staff member who served me was very nice. Most of the items on the sushi menu are items that actually exist in Japan. The only reason I gave 4 stars for food is because there are some items that do not exist in Japan and the rice they use is not Japanese rice (such as koshihikari). Unlike another particular Japanese restaurant, the music playing in the background was japanese music and not Chinese. Also unlike another particular Japanese restaurant: the sushi menu has Japanese writing and not Chinese and the chopsticks used are the correct length (Japanese and Chinese chopsticks are different lengths : Japanese chopsticks are generally shorter than Chinese). The only big problem I would have is that the restaurant is not open until 5 pm so you can't go for lunch.Parking: As long as you are dining in you can park for free. You need to register your number plate on entrance.”

“This restaurant offers an impressive dining experience with its outstanding decor and high-quality tableware. However, while it has much to commend, there are a few areas worth noting.Starting with the food, the Takoyaki was well-made and delicious, though a minor issue surfaced with one piece of octopus being slightly overcooked. On the other hand, the Tonkotsu ramen was a highlight, boasting a rich and creamy broth that truly impressed the palate. The Tuna nigiri maintained the restaurant's commitment to freshness and aesthetic presentation, offering a delightful sushi experience. In terms of beverages, the fresh pot of green tea with loose leaves delivered exceptional flavour and authenticity. For dessert, the cheesecake, although slightly frozen in the middle, managed to win over taste buds with its delicious and refreshing qualities. One aspect that truly shone at Ginza was the customer service. The friendly and efficient waitress ensured a pleasant dining experience, consistently clearing used plates and other tableware, contributing to a tidy and welcoming atmosphere. In summary, Ginza's Japanese cuisine, coupled with its charming decor and quality tableware, offers a noteworthy dining experience. While there were minor hiccups with the Takoyaki and cheesecake, the Tonkotsu ramen, Tuna nigiri, and exceptional green tea certainly make this restaurant a destination worth considering for Japanese cuisine enthusiasts.”
