Absolutely a hidden gem, really tasty food and the service was really friendly and attentive. Restaurant was full and you could see they had a lot of takeaway orders coming in as well. Have had takeaway from here before but I would say the food quality and portion size is better if you eat

Booked a table here as could not get into our usual restaurant! But we were not disappointed. We were a party of 3 visited 10/01/2024. Was it value for money? Absolutely. Was the service good? Absolutely. Was the food good? Absolutely. But I can only give 4 stars because it was a cold day and it was cold in the restaurant by tge end of my visit I was almost shivering! So even though it's a good place to eat I won't be back until the weather wsrms up.

Walked past this restaurant numerous times and differnt times of the day and alwayswondered why it looked so busy.I found out why on Saturday .... Lovely atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff.The food was hot, freshly prepared, mouth watering, tender and succulent..Portions generous for two had to take the rest away.We will defo be going back, and soon!!

This place is constantly amazing. It’s very rare you can pick somewhere as a treat and know you won’t be disappointed. The food is great value, well cooked and delicious.The decor is a mix of traditional yet modern styling and the staff have a perfect balance of attentiveness vs privacy.This is THE place to beat in Northampton.
Ordered take away purely for the vegetarian duck, it was delicious, and when presented with a nut allergy, they couldn't have been more helpful. Excellent service and delicious food thank youDietary restrictions: Happy to cook in clean pan and fresh oil if presented with a nut allergy.

Disappointing experience overall. We had tiny bowls of rather tasteless hot and sour soup. Main courses were also mediocre. It's a mystery to me how they manage to be so full most nights.

It was like stepping back in time to the old Sunrise at it's best. The new staff are friendly and attentive and the food is excellent. The new menu still has classic Chinese restaurant dishes but the chef has added more variety so we ordered a mix and enjoyed all of it.I was surprised at how busy it was on a Tuesday evening but that just goes to show how popular they are and to be fair we'd come from Kettering to try it and we'd come back again.We're one of those families who grew up with Sunrise as our favourite local Chinese restaurant and were sad when it closed but New Sunrise feels fresh and nostalgic at the same time. Most importantly, the food is great. Highly recommended.
