Said breakfast was till 12noon online. We arrived 11.45 to be told that wasn't the case. Disappointing as we had driven for miles. Then the waitress said lunch wasn't served till 12 (so what were we supposed to do for 15 mins!) and was generally a bit off with us. She also said no where near there did breakfast that late. HINT: Granny's cafe 5mins away does and it was beautiful.

What an amazing afternoon tea. Superior to many I've had in both quality and quantity. The cheese scones were exquisite!

Smelt mouldy, had leaks causing chairs to be wet and staff acted very bored. Food was decent but not great. Wouldn't return.Edit: That's understandable then! I think there was a party upstairs too which probably but some stress and you guysParking: Gate almost hit our car by the wind.

Have been planning to celebrate CNY with afternoon tea, and I'm glad I've found this barn cafe. Amazing atmosphere & high quality food, also dogs friendly. The only downside was that we were arranged with a table right next to the toilet door, away from the barn area, not sure if it's because we got a dog with us. Overall it's a pleasant experience.

We had a lovely lunch before going wedding dress shopping. The food was imaginative, well presented and very tasty. There was a roaring fire and we wished we had space to sample the cakes. We’ll be back ?

Great afternoon tea and reasonably priced although a little cold when we went in December, we will return in the
First time to this Cafe and I can say that the food was good but the coffee was not the greatest tasted burned and watery not good for a latte or cappuccino ... The service was slow and other patrons had table service where we were ignored ... 2 customers who came in 15 minutes after us were waited on and we were forgotten or ignored ... we had to go up and order at the counter ... that being said the food was good and the venue was clean

I took my Dad for the Christmas afternoon tea yesterday. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. There was so much that we couldn't eat all of it so bought the cakes home! Such excellent value & 5* absolutely delicious food that you would not get in a 5* hotel. I have been to the Barn on numerous occasions & eaten lunch, cakes & had afternoon tea with a friend & each time the food has been top quality & such good value. Thanks so much to Dan the chef/owner, Rachel his wife & the girls that served us. See you in January & Merry Christmas Tracy

Went for Breakfast today. It was cold outside but the woodturner was going well and we got a table where I could feel the heat. Had the Big Barn (full English) and it was excellent. Really top quality sausages and bacon with a couple of eggs, plenty of mushrooms, beans and a big hash brown. All perfectly cooked to order. Coffee came promptly while we waited for the food. Friendly service and food came without a long wait despite it being a busy Saturday morning. Will definitely be returning.
