Excellent food and atmosphere. Very busy for a Wednesday night which was good, and all the food and drink was prepared to perfection. Special shout out to Davide our server who was funny and very helpful throughout. Overall great service and exceptional food, will be returning.Vegetarian options: Great selection of vegetarian options which we hadn’t heard of! Very tasty.

We were greeted by a lovely smiley girl who showed us to our table which was tucked away in a corner, just perfect. The restaurant was full and very warm, we had a large fan that was pointed at our table which was great. The manager even came over to check it was in the right position for us.We were attended to by a lovely young lady called Tia who couldn’t have done more to makeour evening perfect. The service was fabulous, despite the restaurant being full the staff were buzzing around looking after everyone effortlessly and smiling away.The food was amazing, a nice break between courses, we didn’t feel rushed at all. We had some cocktails which completely finished us off and we happily waddled home full to bursting and very content after such a lovely evening.Thank you Truva (especially Tia) we are very lucky having such a great restaurant so close to our home! We will return soon.

Both my partner and I struggled to book a table for the same evening with reasons ranging from "we're fully booked" to "there's only outside space available" which was slightly off putting, especially to find that on arrival there were several empty tables both inside and outside. All wait staff and bar staff were extremely friendly and welcoming however, which didn't go unnoticed.The food itself was fairly average for the price point, although very decent portions. The low point of the evening was having to ask for a side plate to dispose of our rather dead looking salad. The side plate was provided with no questions, and the waitress seemed neither surprised nor bothered that it didn't look particularly fresh!We left slightly disappointed (especially after reading all the glowing TripAdvisor reviews) but not hungry at least!

Visited here on a quiet Sunday evening but the atmosphere was still really nice. We had great service from Chloe and Bud, super friendly! We ordered the Chef's Special for 2 which was incredible value for money and the food itself was brilliant. Great flavours, good quality and the presentation on the giant board was fun too. Only thing with the board though was that the rice did cool down very quickly. Really lovely location in Towcester with outdoor seating as well, will definitely be back for cocktails when the sun is out!

Absolutely amazing place. Food was so fresh and tasty and reasonably priced. Bread and dips, lamb chops, lamb ribs & chicken shish kebab with brownie and cheesecake for dessert. Definitely worth a visit

Booked a table of 5 for 8 O'clock last night, we arrived to a less than half full restaurant , strange for a Saturday night in this area. The young waiter/ barman was very young and his waiteress sister was even younger, tho pleasant neither were very attentive and spent more than enough time huddled behind the bar looking down at something, their phones at a guess. The food was very poor, rubbish in fact, I had the "la strada" sea food risotto, it consisted of 2 prawns, 4 thinly cut calamari rings with an over powering taste of chilli and chorizo.I didn't eat eat. We haven't been to La Strada for a couple of years and we will not be going back.
