The Plough At Shutlanger
5 Main Rd, Shutlanger, Towcesterwhat an amazing pub. tried to go somewhere else locally, and they gruffly turned us away so we called the plough to see if they could accommodate us, and they were happy to. the fish and chips were fantastic, the burger was maybe the best pub burger i’ve had ever, and the textures of duck starter was just silly good. i think i’d have a bath in that duck mousse. such a pity we live so far away or i’d be back tomorrow!

The Boat Inn
Bridge Rd, Stoke Bruerne, TowcesterJust popped in with my wife as we were out for a drive. We were greeted by a very nice young man behind the bar, very polite, nice and welcoming, and no fuss. I had two pints of San Miguel, they were lovely pints, with a nice head all the way to the bottom of the glass. Definitely coming back in the summer.

Sponnes Rd, TowcesterFantastic Indian styled restaurant, hidden away down a side street from the A5 in Towcester.Food was tasty, hot, fresh, and cooked to perfection. I usually find it hard to find that combination all in one place. The Ganges have nailed it here with regard to food!The staff, and their service was all top notch. Could not fault anyone in there. They were all friendly, and very welcoming. One guy even ran out in to the car park to remind us that we had left something!Location is fair. It does feel a little hidden away being down a side street. When entering the premises you get the vibe of it being an old pub. The toilets for example confirm this point. Whilst it appears clean, this place is deserving of a refurbishment. Parking may be difficult during peak times. If you’re local, you may find it better to walk.I would certainly come back. This has to be one of the best Indian style meals that I have had out in a long time. Highly recommend!Parking: Car park was full at 7PM, however plenty of parking on the street nearby.Wheelchair accessibility: There did look to be disabled bays near the front door. However this may have been challenging due to space constraints.

Potterspury House Restaurant
3 Poundfield Rd, Potterspury, TowcesterA friend recommended this restaurant, and we visited it to buy takeaways. I must commend the chef and staff for their exceptional service while we waited. They prepared an incredibly delicious meal for us to take home. I highly recommend trying their food, as it is definitely worth the cost. Thank you to everyone involved.

1 Richmond Rd, TowcesterAlways had great service from the crew at Towcester, they are all super friendly and wonderful people. Pizza's are always hot, and the sides are always cooked properly. Never had a bad experience from this dominos in all the years we have used them.Our latest delivery guy tonight, was absolutely lovely, very cheerful and friendly, a credit to the team.

A43 North Bound, TowcesterConvenient with a small premium on the fuel. Can accommodate large vehicles with trailers including a dedicated HGV fuelling area. Choice of standard and premium fuels at all pumps. Although pricey, I definitely prefer the M&S as a shop partner compared to Budgens like some others. Great selection of food available. There is a single toilet available which was clean enough.Tip - if you’re a BP rewards card holder and buying food and fuel, pay separately as you can receive bonus points for purchasing food with your next shop. The guy serving showed me this!

77 Watling St, Potterspury, TowcesterWe have had 2 Carverys here now and it's by far the best one around the area!Real good quality meat and all the trimmings you could ask for ? would definitely recommend to anyone ! My two daughters loved their food too, with a huge selection from the new kids menu !

Meadow View, Potterspury, TowcesterAll the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nice atmosphere inside the bar area, which has a large screen for watching sports. Good selection of draft beers on tap and two different varieties of peanuts. They have a large hall that can be booked as a venue for a party or clubs like line dancing. I’ve been to this place on many occasions and it’s been superb every time. There is even a regular down there that the locals call Cat Man Who. Highly recommended this sports and social club.

Everything was perfect. We will definitely be coming back. I'm just annoyed I've lived here for years and never been!!!

Tove Ln, TowcesterGreat place to stop after a walk in the park or town, Claire is a friendly soul, who always greets you with a warm smileHer food is great, which is locally home made from sausage rolls to cakes and the cake that sells out fast are the delicious Cruffins, the one I go for is the custard Cruffin, but there are 2 to 3 more varieties of Cruffins, you can buy them Saturdays and Sundays, but they sell out before lunchtime so if you want them get there mid morning for a chance of self indulgent heaven.Great Coffee's and other food options on the menu to be had.A converted horse box becomes the shop just across the road from the water meadow park that is parked on the bridge across the river outside the main gate to the park.Very great place to stop grab a coffee and cake with a friendly smile from Claire.
