Went for a quick midweek dinner. As usual service was friendly, welcoming and efficient. Food was catering for my dietary needs (I'm vegan) and they had a good choice of specials as well as their normal menu. Good atmosphere, not too quiet, not too noisy.

Just had a superb Sunday roast at The Butchers Arms. The pub was busy but the service was amazing. Very attentive and helpful. The roasts were fab with loads of fresh veg, great meat and plenty of Yorkshire puddings.My wife had a gluten allergy and was catered for perfectly with a gluten free roast.Thanks to all the staff for a great meal.Dietary restrictions: Excellent gluten free roast with Yorkshire puddings

Great restaurant. We go a couple of times a month and the food is always delicious, well cooked and presented. We eat out a lot in London, and this pub is up there with London - but half the cost. The staff are fantastic and attentive but not intrusive. We highly recommend.

Had a wonderful visit on a busy Saturday early evening, arrived to a very busy bar area, however the barman spotted me and arranged a table with a warm welcome. Great service, friendly and speedy. I ordered a black pudding scotch egg starter and a Pork rib eye with veg casserole and new potatoes, my pal, Chips and Fish, both meals perfect. I would defiantly visit again if I am in the area.

Good atmosphere and very friendly service. Barman is welcoming and now we are regulars he knows what we want and has it ready when we enter.

A great pub but also the food is excellent for coeliacs. The chef is really careful about cross-contamination and there is a separate frier for chips and the amazing gluten free battered haddock. A good choice of gluten free food is available.Dietary restrictions: Excellent choice of gluten free food. Very careful about cross-contamination.

Over priced wonabees £19.00 for Sunday lunch. 2 cold bits of beef cold vegetables 3 roast potatoes cold . We was told no room in restaurant only in bar plenty of empty tables in restaurant and was still empty when we left we had to put are own tables together in bar cutlery arrive in pint glass had to ask for salt pepper mustard. Bar staff / manager eating Drinking behind bar and cuddling each other . Been watching too much television and no ideas of how it should be done sticky toffee pudding just brown colour sponge no taste anaemic sugar water what should have been toffee sauce cold again . This place is rubbish will not be coming back ever again .

We held a Sunday lunch in the private Barn Room for 9 family members to celebrate a 97th birthday. Sam and all his team did a fantastic job of looking after us, and making the day feel special. The food was excellent and the service attentive and friendly. In advance we pre-ordered food and Sam was very helpful in coordinating everything, and enabling us to get into the room early to decorate it with our birthday banners and balloons. Thank you for all your help - a very good experience in every way.

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere but great efficient team with attention to detail. The menu is varied but not overly long; we were delighted by the quality of the cooking of every dish we had. Everything was delicious, and in spite of the generous portions it was so yummy we cleared our plates!
