Very poor quality food. Frozen hash browns, very overcooked. Muffin with zero flavour. Food very greasy. Service poor but staff were trying hard. Took 30 mins just to get a muffin. When this place was 185 used to visit often , now only do when everywhere is packed. Such a shame good food places are needed in this town.

Had a lovely lunch here. Enjoyed a great flatbread with goats cheese and beetroot plus fabulous crispy fries on the side. Would come again.

Awful food a baby could’ve cooked a burger better. Burger was called something like the chin dribbler but there was definitely no dribbling from the dry over cooked mess I received.

Horrible burger it was fried chicken and the chicken was chewing and seemed out of date. Bun was disgusting. Chips were only decent thing. Never order food. Had a pint, she had diet coke two chicken burgers and chips £35! What a waste of money and stomach ache afterwards.

Been here a few times now and each time the food and service has been amazing. Worth every penny. Super nice environment to be in, and the quality of food and speed it is served is fantastic. Could invest in a better glass cleaner if I am honest, but other than that, brilliant.

Great place, welcoming staff. Food however, ordered the house BBQ "quasage-pops"......literally a chopped up sausage, with a tooth pick provided to eat it with.....£6.25

Most bars and eateries in Towcester close on a Monday... even a bank holiday Monday when the sun is shining. Apart from, that is, the Watling Street Village. So, we thought we'd pop in especially as they were advertising a beer festival. It was moderately busy and the beers were in the garden under a gazebo. There were around 8-10 beers of which about half were from two nearby breweries. I paid £4 for a pint of Thornbridge Jaipur which was very reasonable. I then had to go back inside to purchase a soft drink for my daughter - £3.30 for a bottle of Coca Cola!!We stayed in the garden which, apart from the grass, was nicely kept with bright flowers in the borders. When I went up for a second drink, the bar staff were eating and reluctant to get up and pour me a pint. The general demeanour of the staff was similarly apathetic and several of them spent most of the time vaping. The overall experience wasn't great and we are unlikely to return but we could certainly see that this place would appeal to families looking for food and space for the kiddies to run around... and there aren't many places like that in Towcester, especially on a Monday.

We booked this place yesterday 15-08-23 for a night out to celebrate my son’s 21st birthday. I can’t comment on the food as we walked out. We was ordering drinks and watching the chef as it’s a open kitchen. There was a number of flies going on peoples food that was waiting to go out to customers. None of the staff even attempted to scare the flies away. The gentleman with long hair that was in the kitchen preparing food didn’t have a hairnet or hat on and was actually handling multiple food with no gloves on and was seen buy us wiping his face then straight away using his hands in food again. My mother refused to eat but we decided to stay and finish our drinks. A waitress brought over a pot of tea and a cup. As I went to pour the tea I looked in the cup. The cup was absolutely disgusting and should have been thoroughly scrubbed . The marks inside was absolutely disgusting! I really wish I had taken a photo of it. The waitress was called and offered a half hearted apology and she was actually trying not to laugh! Absolutely unacceptable. We then looked inside the teapot and inside that was filthy also. We left the tea and walked out. Thankfully we found another place to celebrate. I wouldn’t even go back if the food was free. Disgusting

Enjoyed a lovely lunch with family sitting in the garden in the shade. Staff were helpful and friendly; food was very good and the place was beautifully clean. It's definitely a good place to visit.
