We ate here yesterday after it being recommended by our airbnb host. The upstairs room has a lovely ambiance to it. It was very busy but we weren't rushed. Food was delicious and portions very generous. I couldn't finish mine. My hubby had the sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection. Great choice of sides too. Service was excellent. Big shout out to Estelle who welcomed and looked after us so well from start to finish. Highly recommend and we'll eat here again next time we are in the area.

Best pint of Guinness in Ballycastle. The food in the restaurant was very good & the place was virtually full on a Thursday evening. Highly recommend going & do book in

Visited for Sunday lunch. Amazing lunch with huge meat and gravy portions. The best lunch out we've had in a long time. Staff really friendly and attentive. Can't wait to come again when visiting in ballycastle.

I came here for Sunday lunch with my wife and her dad and brother. I’d eaten well at the Anzac years ago and it sounded like a good option. For starters I had calamari which was very well flavoured and not greasy or chewy, my wife had goat’s cheese which she said was lovely, my brother in law had chilli chicken and my father in law had soup (no complaints from either). For mains I had roast lamb with cabbage and bacon (the lamb was tender and with just the right amount of mint), my brother in law had roast beef (which I had a bit of food envy over), and my wife and her dad both had turkey and ham which they said was very nice. Service was very professional and there was no problem getting my brother in law dairy free food, or extra roast potatoes for my wife who doesn’t like mash. I toyed with having dessert but we were all too stuffed…

Lovely relaxed evening with excellent food. The roasted veg curry was absolutely fantastic as was the salmon.

Our fifth visit. Service superb, food superior to anything I've experienced in the Glens and North Antrim. Only minor criticism is that the piped music was loud and we couldn't hold a conversation until we requested it be turned down which was done with good grace. Why so many restaurants assume we share the staff's taste in music or even choose to listen to it in the first place is a mystery. Otherwise a great night. I'd highly recommend it.

We chose Anzac for our meal as had been few years ago. We went to bar down stairs first. Lovely wee bar and friendly staff. Went up for our meal. Greeted with friendly waiter. Promptly taken to table. Wine and order served quickly which we like. I had 2 starters and side. Goats cheese was nice, but it was like strips done in crumb. Wld really preferred it whipped or crumbed. That was my only dislike of whole evening. Wld definitely recommend this restaurant.

Brilliant service by staff - friendly, down to earth but most importantly, honest. Peter - who I believe is the Assistant Manager - he upholds the highest degree of customer service - he is a credit to the team.

I had the pleasure of dining here with my granddaughter both Friday and Saturday evening, I can see why the reviews are so good, even though it was busy the staff were great and nothing was too much for them my granddaughter was treated like a princess which she loved, I had the best ribeye I've had in a long time cooked exactly how I like it the starter's and desserts were exceptional my favourite meal was the Lamb, cooked to perfection I recommend you give it a try you won't be disappointed if you like wine the Spanish white (I can't remember the name) is a must. All in all the Anzac in my opinion the best dining experience in Ballycastle

This was an excellent recommendation provided by our b and b host. The food and drink were amazing. We shared a yummy sticky toffee pudding here. The staff was so welcoming and friendly.

Everyone seems to rate this as the town’s best restaurant and I can see why. The meal was delicious, service was excellent despite it being a very busy evening but then I’d imagine they’re used to being busy! A wide-ranging menu, especially for mains, everything we had was very good.

This restaurant was recommended to me by my cousin and his wife, both are frequent visitors to Ballycastle. It didn't disappoint, so much so we ate there twice on a 5 night stay to Northern Ireland. The food is outstanding, everything from the soup to the fish dishes, we were too full for puddings The staff are so lovely, they really enjoy their work and chats with customers, we had a real giggle with them but they totally respect space and privacy, very professional. I gladly would have enjoyed a pint or two with them! Thank you for making it such a lovely couple of evenings for us, and the travelling recommendations, we really enjoyed meeting you.
