Morton's
9 Bayview Rd, BallycastleFish and chips are fresh and at its best.I'd been promised tea from here on previous visits and this last one was to be it, we got there just before it got busy and boy does it get busy. There's no frying up front here you wait for your food and it's hot and bloomin lovely. We ordered a side of onion rings and I expected to get maybe 4 or 6 rings, oh no what you get is pretty much a whole onion. It's not overly expensive either with our order being about £20. Certainly will be back again.

Hillside Tavern
53 Castle St, BallycastleThis is the restaurant I frequent the most, together with the Salthouse. What makes Anzacs so special is that not only is the food of high standard, the staff are simply fabulous. Service is done with a smile and nothing is too much to ask for. On the night we went, the manager was suffering badly from a sore back but still he would be professional, delivering a delightful service ensuring that the guests had a brilliant time. Absolutely wonderful place.

Ursa Minor
45 Ann St, BallycastleEntirely wonderful. Unpretentious, good food with an emphasis on quality. A prevalence of good culinary discernment is wholey evident: to me, at least, especially considering I chose my dishes intending to be exploratory. A pleasant meal, I shall visit again.
