Lovely peaceful site.

On the positive side, the location of this campsite is lovely but it literally stops there. In an effort to be constructive, this site has the potential to be so very much more than it is. Having spent two weeks in Ireland and stayed in several sites, this was one of the more expensive but nothing about the amenities or staff willingness to help justified this. We had tried other sites prior to booking but this was the only one with pitches available. On arriving it was easy to see why. Alarm bells rang even more when reception insisted it was cash only. The 3D camera showing the site might be impressive to some but gave me a Big Brother feeling. Once money was handed over, it was very much a hands off approach. Facilities were tired worn and dated. On using the toilets at 8.30 the following morning, two were out of paper and the toilet roll in the other was so crammed in that you could not remove a single piece. Signs everywhere requested that one leave the toilet as you found it. Perfectly acceptable but one could not help feeling the owness was on the campers rather than site managers. I was left wondering where the money taken was going. Therevwas no evidence of it being used on the site. An opportunity lost in my opinion as this is not a place I can see campers wanting to go back to. We were relieved to leave.

Probably the best view from a campsite we’ve ever had. The owners are really welcoming and helpful. Basic facilities which all work. And a bar which provides much needed shelter for a rainy windy evening

Good weekend in a lovely spot along the North Coast, quiet and friendly caravan site with good atmosphere. Owners were always on hand to help and chat.Nearby activities: Close to Ballycastle and Balintoy.Food & drinks: Bar on site was an added bonus and great fry for breakfast.

No phone signal on the campsite site, patchy in the bar..and the bar only takes cash for overpriced drinks! Guinness + J2O = £10

Location = ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Site cleanliness = ⭐️ Site Standards = ⭐️ Owner Effort & Commitment = ⭐️ Site Safety = ⭐️ Just left Glenmore today. Nice quiet site with stunning views but thats abouts it tbh! Save your money and go wild camping! Toilets are disgusting and smelly. Yes (see pic) that is the bucket and mop that is used to clean the toilets. I think it only moved once during the week we stayed unless the wind caught it? And the water definitely wasnt changed. Several bottles from drinks fridge behind bar also moldy! Albiet bar staff apologetic.our pitch in the lower field had very poor drainage another camp area is at the top of a hill but remained flooded the whole time we were there! it only rained for a few hrs!!!! Suspect lack of investment in drainage! The gas cage is full of rusty bottles and also empty bottles burried in the hedge. POTENTIALLY FATAL!!!!!! I am going to have to report this to Calor!!!! Site has so much potential with a little more effort. I have stayed on hundreds of sites around the UK and unfortunetly this was the worst yet! No we won't be back and yes the negative reviews are correct!!!

This is our 7th year at Glenmore hosting the Citroen 2cv northern Ireland tin snails camp which attracts members from far and wide. We as a club want to say a very large thank you for the welcome we receive every year and the appreciation and interest in the cars that is shown by both the owners and the other campers while we camp. We don't have any complaints as we are all well seasoned campers and realise that you can't please everyone.

When the rest of the country was covered in rain, we enjoyed the most fantastic sunsets with a nice glass of Wine at Glenmore. Spectacular views of Rathlin island from a lovely tranquil garden. Valerie was very nice and accommodating. Room was nice, clean and spacious. Great value. Recommended.

A very good location and the added bonus of a bar and cafe on site. Generally felt a bit unloved, facilities were run down and the site seemed uncared for.

Drove in to supposed 'complex', very tired and unkempt site, always tell by the length of grass around the pitches and state of the toilets, quickly drove out again.

Had booked for one night stay but when drove in we could see the place was badly looked after and the toilet area looked filthy. Grass was long and rubbish strewn about. We drove straight out ( cancelled booking on Pitch Up as not paying) lost deposit but didn't care just needed to get out.

Terrible. Allowed noise all night and I was asked to remove myself by drunken owner for driving my car at 5am as I had not slept because of drunks on campsite running amuck. Poor amenities and cash only payments which I'm investigating

Great location but absolutely awful site, run down, dirty, unkept and the owners attitude was disgusting. When I asked about the facilities, the owner was extremely rude. He should be ashamed of himself and the wife was just as bad. I don’t expect to pay for dirty facilities. Needless to say we as a family with a young child left early

Great place for camping and a good base if you want to visit nearby tourist attractions. Owners are very welcoming and helpful. Pub on site.
