This is the restaurant I frequent the most, together with the Salthouse. What makes Anzacs so special is that not only is the food of high standard, the staff are simply fabulous. Service is done with a smile and nothing is too much to ask for. On the night we went, the manager was suffering badly from a sore back but still he would be professional, delivering a delightful service ensuring that the guests had a brilliant time. Absolutely wonderful place.

Our friends live in Ballycastle and they had spoken highly of Anzac. We visited last night for the first time and were hugely impressed by the variety and quality of food on offer. Highlights were hake scampi and a salmon dish which was sublime. A big shout out to our serving ladies … Alannah and Estelle ( who has a future in stand up ) … other similar and perhaps better known establishments in the area could learn a lot about customer service from these two. A “winter warmer” special deal ( which I still don’t fully understand ) meant that a bunch of starters and puds were free, resulting in a very fair bill indeed. Thanks. Can’t wait to return later in the year when we are next back in NI.

This really has become one of my favourite restaurants in the North Antrim Area, Ballycastle. The service is always wonderful, knowledge, helpful and friendly staff. Food is always beautifully presented and is of wonderful tasty quality.

Booked the Anzac for our friends 25th birthday. Food was outstanding, as was the service too. Thoroughly enjoyed the Spanish chicken. Steak always cooked perfectly, great sized portions. Deserts beautifully presented, empty plates all around! Anzac is a hidden gem in ballycastle, great for any occasion.

My wife and I had a lovely meal here. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, they listened to our request on how we liked our food cooked. I only booked the table on the Friday for the Saturday night and I was very lucky to get a table so I would advise booking well in advance. The food was 100% and good helping. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. 10 out of 10 to all the staff. Thank you.

Just had a lovely meal in this restaurant it had a mid week deal buy main course get starter or sweet free it was delicious the Service was great, efficient and very attentive Will definitely be back again. Great restaurant very busy. Maybe best to make a reservation before you go

Visited the Anzac for a family lunch at the weekend .. .. Welcomed with a friendly smile into the upstairs dining area .. bright and airy and well laid out .. with a lovely set table prepared .. Very pleasant and friendly staff .. Really good menu .. And the food was super .. all really well presented and really good quality .. One other thing .. not only was the food good .. the service was excellent .. there were 12 of us .. and all starters came out together .. promptly after we had ordered … Same with the main courses .. all perfectly served .. and presented together .. . Definitely recommend here for a Sunday lunch.
We found the Anzac on Google and did not regret it at all. Great downstairs bar, and the restaurant exceeded our expectations, food was one of the best meals we have had for a long time. Service was great and can not fault it at all. Throughly recommended to all, make sure you book as it was busy which is always a good sign.

We recently celebrated a special family members birthday here. All 9 of us enjoyed our meal. 9 clean plates. Food came out Hot & Plenty of it. The waiter made sure everyone had everything and then the manager came back to check on our table, which was great. Can’t fault our experience and will definitely be back and recommending to other friends and family! 5stars - Team Anzac

I came here for Sunday lunch with my wife and her dad and brother. I’d eaten well at the Anzac years ago and it sounded like a good option. For starters I had calamari which was very well flavoured and not greasy or chewy, my wife had goat’s cheese which she said was lovely, my brother in law had chilli chicken and my father in law had soup (no complaints from either). For mains I had roast lamb with cabbage and bacon (the lamb was tender and with just the right amount of mint), my brother in law had roast beef (which I had a bit of food envy over), and my wife and her dad both had turkey and ham which they said was very nice. Service was very professional and there was no problem getting my brother in law dairy free food, or extra roast potatoes for my wife who doesn’t like mash. I toyed with having dessert but we were all too stuffed…
