Our church group of elderly people (mostly in their 80s) booked a New Year lunch in Barnabys restaurant on Monday 8th January 2024- we were allocated a room upstairs. When we got there the room was absolutely freezing cold - many of the old people could not take off their coats and some were shivering. The bathrooms were freezing and when I used them I could actually see my breath The staff brought out blow heaters some of which were broken and falling apart. When the food arrived it was served on cold plates and this combined with the cold temperature of the room meant that the food was cold - A lady complained and later received a phonecall - the manager was actually quite rude to her - poor customer service indeed I as one of the organisers am very annoyed and indeed embarassed - I will definitely not be back and will not be recommending this restaurant to friends or family

We visited for bottomless brunch with friends. The food was yummy, drinks plentiful and staff absolutely fantastic. Professional, courteous while being friendly and great craic. A special shout out to George, he just added so much fun to our afternoon

Hadn't been there for a while but really dirty tables we had to ask for ours to be cleaned even after given a wipe our arms stuck on the table poor quality food wouldn't recommend it

We both had our wedding here, it's a little place that's of the the beaten track a little I have to say it was fabulous. The staff were exceptional and attentively perfect. Our day went smoothly and it was perfect we couldn't fault it in any way. Food was outstanding I have to mention George and Leta two absolute gems for their hard work in seeing that we had a great time. We would highly recommend Barnabys for your special day thank you to all the staff and owners.Mr and Mrs McKeown.

We arrived here today at lunch time. There was a waitress at the door as we walked in, she completely ignored us, she then walked away and left us standing at the door. We then waited a further 10 minutes for someone to come and tell us they were fully booked. We were completely ignored, even though several staff members saw us waiting. It’s no one’s fault that the restaurant was overbooked, however, it is never acceptable for waiting staff to be so rude.
Food wasn’t great needs a bit of cleaning outside on the plus side the kids could play while we were eating as we had a big party of 20 plus and we sat on our own

Food was ok, my main was lovely chicken pesto. Starter mushroom with sauce about a 8/10 there was a small hair in it so a wee bit off putting. My dessert was bland, apple crumble heated in the microwave, vanilla ice cream with no flavour. My husbands main was also nice and starter he had king prawns which he said was 5/10.Apart from the food the service was great, everyone was lovely. And the cocktail was niceI wouldn't rush back or probably wouldn't recommend it but definitely not the worst.
