I’ve never been in more disgusting toilets in a public place in my 66 years!! The floor, sinks, broken soap dispenser, broken bin and broken (missing) toilet seat. The only cubicle that was available had faeces splattered all over the bowl and there was no toilet brush. I’m shocked that it was just so bad.

A smaller Applegreen but a very clean, well staffed and presented one. The ⛽ fuel is wild expensive so best avoided but for a coffee at Lavazza or a quick sandwich at Subway it can't be beaten. Greggs is also available as is a confectionery outlet. Toilets are available and ample parking is too.
Couldn’t believe the state of the place today. It was filthy (the toilets and the whole place really), coffee concession closed, was grunted at by the bored server in the shop and Greggs had very little food out. Worst of all, toilet roll from the bathrooms was strewn about the floor in the main retail area and no one seemed to be in any rush to clear it up. The outside of the building need a scrub too. An embarrassment to think tourists can see this.

Place it very dirty, the toilets are filthy and not one table clean to sit at in the food area, floor also very dirty with food. Staff just chatting to each other at the different food shops.

Went to Applegreen this evening, never haven been before. Seriously a main stop off for travellers on this route! Went to subway, they had little or tuna, or chicken left, among a list of 6 or 7 main sandwich contents. Brown sauce he had to open sachets! No cookies, advised to try main shop. Progressed to drinks section, sorry no tea, is this not a staple drink, advised to go to self service at main shop, we where also advised at this stage it would be cheaper. When asked for a coffee, was again told it would be cheaper at the self service. (Perhaps he couldn't be bothered!) Paid for what we did get, moved to find a table. One table was in use, the rest where empty. Not a clean one to be had! Appletreewick surely you need to up your game. Toilet area also needed a good clean. If I could give a minus rating you would have it
