The Halfway House Country Pub

The staff having a public squabble about where to seat us kinda set things back a bit. Then being openly stared at by the table across the way for 10 minutes was a bit unnerving. However, when the dust settled (and the table opposite left), the service was reasonable, and the food was well presented with decent flavour, and on another night I'd be pretty sure a bit craic could be had (will update you on that later).

Just had a beautiful Sunday lunch. Food was piping hot ,and beautifully cooked and presented. Staff very attentive Great value for the money and would highly recommend.

Digsy's Diner, The Cafe.

OMG just had the Digsys Hash. The tastiest and most filling breakfast I've ever had. We were a party of 8 the service was so friendly and super quick whilst making you feel so welcome. Great value for money too. You willnot regret visiting Digsys Diner in Broughshane.

Was here over the weekend, Anne and staff are excellent, received a warm and friendly welcome by all. Great atmosphere, would definitely recommend, overall top notch.

The Pizza Parlour

Pizza was fantastic as always, but the garlic chips and spicy corn salad didn't seem to have the usual quality as when I last had them. Staff were polite and friendly as always, food came promptly after I arrived and the app service is a life saver.

Absolutely brilliant! Got a delivery and it was quick, food was hot and the driver was very friendly! Food was 1st class donner meat was fantastic and the best pizza I've had in a long long time. Highly recommend ?

Main Street Pizzeria ,Kells

The man on the till who served me and my friends was super friendly and very helpful with giving positive opinions of all the food options. The chicken kickers were absolutely amazing, I'm not one for spice but it was absolutely lovely, not too spicy, not too plain. Would 100% recommend and will be back in the future??

The Post House Carvey at Tullyglass

We had booked for the carvery and again the food was excellent. The roast beef is amazing and we have not found it as tender anywhere else (yet!). The price includes starters, main meal, dessert, and tea/coffee and compares very favorably with any other places we have visited. We would recommend booking a 'slot' (maybe midweek) as the venue is very popular and busy, particularly at weekends.

McAllister's Whiskey Lounge

Large group of us went here to celebrate a birthday. Could not fault one single thing. Staff were brilliant and the menu/food also really good. There was a gentleman playing live music, not too loud and added to the great atmosphere. Would definitely come back.

If you like Fried Chicken then do not rule out this fast food outlet to get your fix.It would be my first choice over Kentucky any day when in Ballymena. It is very tasty with well priced, sizeable portions that trump KFC all day long.

Very nice cafe ,meals very good and have nice range.Parking: Lots of parking spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: yes there is a good life tp the cafe use it every time we visit

Subway is tops for me, the food is very tasty with nice choices on the menu e.g. the bread rolls, vegetables and also: available are vegetarian and vegan choices too e.g., vegetarian and vegan paties...my advice is: get yourself in there and enjoy some delicious and good healthy eating ?☯️

We've had the Kung Po Beef twice, The Chicken Chow Mein and the Chicken with Cashew Nuts in sweet chilli sauce. The meat and chicken, are tender and succulent and all have a lovely flavour which the spices enhance, not disguise. Only downside is that delivery is not the quickest so would suggest that you order early, however, the food IS worth the wait.

If myself and my daughter feel like a pizza take-away this place is our 'go to'. The food is absolutely delicious. Always fast at delivering and food is always hot. I adore their sweetcorn salad too! I can't fault them in anyway at all!

For food only reason. Giveing 3 stars is because it's a hit an miss sometimes iv had my food delivered freezing or missing drinks so stopped ordering drinks with them....... Definitely think it's down to who's working and who's delivering use to be one my favourites but definitely not anymore I dnt care about price as I love a nice Chinese but u might aswell throw ur money into the bin because 9 times out of 10 that's were the food goes and when u ring they say we will put a note and make sure ur drinks are sent neber received them lol so na it's a no from me il stick to my new Chinese golden city best about so far

The Doury Frier

I ordered for delivery. The staff member on the phone was really friendly. I ordered a sausage supper, 8 chicken nuggets and a bottle of coke zero. The total came to around £11. Not bad in my eyes. The food tasted amazing.The only downside I had was the delivery time. It was around 50 mins. Overall I would definitely recomed The Doury Frier.

Had a very pleasant dining experience with the work colleagues last week in the Sanjha Indian restaurant. Staff couldn't do enough for you and a wide variety of dishes to choose from.Clean, delicious food and great craic with friends. Will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: I have a nut allergy and staff let me know what dishes to avoid as well as detailed ingredients on the menu.Parking: Convenient paid car parking a stonesthrow away.

Golden Fry

Take away food that is completely delicious! Nice clean tastes, not greasy at all and full of flavour. It can be busy, so phoning your order ahead of time can be a good idea.

Costa Coffee

Typical Costa cafe with plenty of seating. Nice enough space and the service was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only issue I would have is that some of the soft seats have had better days and could do with a bit of a refresh.Parking: Parking was really close and plenty of it, but I was there early in the day. I could imagine it being more difficult later in the day as there are other food outlets and a cinema nearby.

KFC Ballymena - Larne Road Link

The food was hot and fresh and the staff super helpful. One of our burgers wasn't right and they changed it quickly and without hesitation. The two fellas who were on couldn't have been more helpful. As KFCs go this is one of the better ones. As the photo shows the grub went down a treat!!

Leighinmohr House Hotel

We attended a tribute night with the meal included. From start to finish was excellent ,the service,the food even the ladies on reception when I booked .I would highly recommend this hotel.Food & drinks: Excellent

First time eating here and I must say it was lovely. Staff were very attentive.I had the small fry which was just the right amount. There is a gut buster breakfast on the menu if you are really hungry. Enough to feed 2 men and a wee lad. Normal amount for the shams in Ballymena ?

Went out with no expectations of where to eat on a nice Sunday afternoon, then we came across Harbour lights cafe on the sea front.What a find it was from the most pleasant staff greeting with a warm welcome right through to the food, even though my first choice of the mixed grill I was unable to try due to the steak all sold out but I was assured their house burger was something worth trying which I did and boy was they right !!We left the pleasant cafe belly full and over the moon with quality food we were served, I will be back to try that mixed grill soon!!

Fish and large chips for a tenner. Enough for two to share. The batter was crispy... Until the last doused it in vinegar? Definitely recommend this takeaway as the food was very good.

Cafe Cova

Today we called for the first time for a takeaway to take to the beach.We have passed this cafe hundreds of times but have never ever called in until today.We can now say it will be a regular stop off from now on for a lunch to sit in or takeaway to the beach.We got a couple of paninis and took them to the picnic tables at the beach.They were freshly made piping hot and delicious they even came with a few crisps. We asked for a tub of coleslaw but they had run out so they very kindly offered us a tub of mayonnaise.Please call in for a coffee and a bite to eat it's a little gem of a place in the heart of beautiful Cushundall.

I call in here when my Mum is with me. She loves their fish supper and chips. They have started using plastic glasses which isn't pleasant, but food is nice and staff are lovely
