My favourite place in Northern Ireland to eat, can't get enough of the place. Food is well presented , lovely staff and plenty of craic. Glenarm beef dinner is amazing. Tried most of the dinners over the years and haven't been let down yet

Hands down, my favourite restaurant in Ballymena. I travel to Ballymena for work every month and I have been coming here now for 7 years. Best Picannha and cocktails and the staff and really friendly.

Digsy's Diner, The Cafe.

The food and service here was amazing. Everything is really well priced and to top it off they are dog friendly! Will definitely be back when we are next in Ballymena!

The Pizza Parlour

Thanks to The Pizza Parlour we had a fantastic night to remember for my son's 30th Birthday. The food was amazing, the staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive, making it a very enjoyable and relaxing celebration. Thanks to all the staff for making it such a great night.

Was here over the weekend, Anne and staff are excellent, received a warm and friendly welcome by all. Great atmosphere, would definitely recommend, overall top notch.

Main Street Pizzeria ,Kells

The man on the till who served me and my friends was super friendly and very helpful with giving positive opinions of all the food options. The chicken kickers were absolutely amazing, I'm not one for spice but it was absolutely lovely, not too spicy, not too plain. Would 100% recommend and will be back in the future??

The Doury Frier

I ordered for delivery. The staff member on the phone was really friendly. I ordered a sausage supper, 8 chicken nuggets and a bottle of coke zero. The total came to around £11. Not bad in my eyes. The food tasted amazing.The only downside I had was the delivery time. It was around 50 mins. Overall I would definitely recomed The Doury Frier.

Very nice cafe ,meals very good and have nice range.Parking: Lots of parking spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: yes there is a good life tp the cafe use it every time we visit

McAllister's Whiskey Lounge

Our first visit and we weren't disappointed. It's in a beautiful setting. We ate three hearty meals starting with Chilli seasoned chicken followed by Chicken Supreme, delicious and rich ravioli with lovely seasonal vegetables and vegetable Wellington. Desserts were fresh and light; Pavlova and pear upside down cake. Service was excellent; friendly but not intrusive.

Subway

Just wanted to leave a review today as the new Primark has just opened and the town is hectic and the staff in fairhill subway were 1st class. Team work was fantastic, so quick but with manners and a smile. Got served by a beautiful girl named Elsa and her customer service skills are fantastic.

Roosters

Roosters ballymena has the best fried chicken you can get , juicy inside and perfectly crispy on the outside, the fries are one of the best specially with the periperi seasoning , Them dips are delicious you should try the taco and garlic mayo. Hot gravy perfect. Big portions that will fill you up. The boys that work there are very easy to talk too and very friendly. Highly recommend.

ballymena kebab and pizza house

not sure what folk's problem with it is! i've eaten here for several years now and always found it very satisfactory & good portions!! Beware that there's no card reader, you may have to venture into town to get one or chance your luck with the one across the road, which works sometimes.

Restaurant Sorrento

The best wee spot in Ballymena for tasty, homemade food. Super family friendly too which is brilliant when you’ve a wee mouth to feed! Accommodating to adjust to our allergy/dietary requirements. Really lovely, helpful staff and just a brilliant spot. Besides all that the food is delicious! Can’t wait to try the Sunday carvery!

What an absolutely fantastic place to get food from.
Food always piping hot and absolutely delicious everytime . Delivery drivers going above and beyond in treacherous conditions and the service in general being 1st class this for me is my number 1 spot for food all day long so thankyou guys

Went here for dinner. The service is great there were some tables filled and he was alone but he was doing a perfect job. Also the food tasted amazing. Portions are a nice size.

The Khayber | Indian Restaurant

While everything was fine we feel the price of the food is very expensive. £19 for a curry then on top of that you pay £4.95 for Garlic nan. Same tpe of curry and side is 6.50 cheaper in Coleraine so guess thats were we will go.

Second time I have been and the food and service was again fantastic . Can sometimes be hard when visiting somewhere to find a lovely place to eat/drink but it really has been impressive, both times and I look forward to going again.

First visit I had roasted beef which was fabulous and yesterday pork belly bites as starter and double bacon burger - piping hot and fresh-

The Post House Carvey at Tullyglass

Called in for a quick bite as we had been on the road about 3hrs. At reception we were offered a choice of restaurant or carvery - we opted for the latter. There wasn't a choice of bar food, which we would be accustomed to while travelling. Food was just being set up, ready for customers to self service. Room was empty at this early stage of the evening. Gentleman in charge was very courteous and helpful. Chef was a nice man. It was 3 course with choices. While we enjoyed our food, as carveries go, it is overpriced at £35 per head- pretty close to 'a la carte' prices. However we were happy and were treated well.

Char Bella

Great wee place. Used to go with mates and get the charbabs along with the burgers, now they don't do kebabs anymore. Devastated. Hope they bring them back. Good people working there too, always friendly and quick at the till.

I lived adjacent to Brick Lane in the ‘East end’ for many years, this place would give the best of ‘Banglatown’ a run for their money. Superb and sophisticated and experienced service. Worth travelling for.

Big Bear Pizza Shack

The portions are large for many of the options. I got a spice bag and it was definitely enough food, however it wasn't exactly great. Others tried different kebabs and were satisfied.

I got the large curry with noddles and have to say im impressed the portion is massive and the curry is delicious and a bargain at just over a tenner ill get from here again

Delicious! As a Chinese person, I'm so grateful to be able to find such good Chinese food in the UK. I've been eating at this restaurant for almost four years; it's always excellent. Try to pick it up yourself; it'll be faster that way.

Love eating from here first time iv got delivery to my mums lol but I will say this for the delivery driver that was on tonight and delivered my food next time knock the door and stand outside till someone comes to the door dont knock my door and walk in at the end of the day I had no clue who u were tbh

Called in yesterday at 4pm after shopping nearby , new opening hours very welcome ( 4pm- 11pm). Ordered Happy Meal A and in was brought to me in less than 9 minutes. Hot , fresh and extremely tasty. Pleasant staff and high food hygiene rating. Only downside to me would be the interior , faded price offer signs , beside a lovely new Menu ! And 20% off your first online order !

Oranmore House

This wee gold mine we found last year for mums 80th birthday the most amazing staff and food. This year we were let down by another hotel the day before my mums 81st we rang the Oranmore and they done everything possible to fit us in yesterday 20th December for dinner and what can I say it was the most amazing meal, Atmosphere and the wonderful staff made us feel extra special. Cannot recommend this place enough you guys are fantastic. See you again very soon xxxxx

Applegreen Ballymena Services A26

I would have given 5 stars but bins were overflowing inside and out and the seating area for Greggs and Subway needing to be cleaned. When I went to sit down at least 4 tables hadnt been cleaned, chairs full of old and new crumbs and floor in that area needed brushed. Was a Sunday and maybe less staff on so maybe that was why. Apart from that the Applegreen was in a good location, plenty on offer and customer toilets available and plenty of parking

Golden Fry

Take away food that is completely delicious! Nice clean tastes, not greasy at all and full of flavour. It can be busy, so phoning your order ahead of time can be a good idea.

The Peppermill

Went here for a wee dinner on a sunday night. The food was delicious and the staff couldnt have been any nicer to me and my famiy. Food was top quality, made quickly and the overall presence of the place was phenomenal. xx. I ordered 2 pizzas and they have created a core memory inside me now that i associate with all that is good in the lovely village of cushendall.

Costa Coffee in Ballymena provides a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing break.

The staff are friendly and the coffee is consistent, with a good selection of beverages and snacks/ sweet treats to choose from.

The seating is comfortable, though the café can get busy during peak hours, making it difficult to find a spot.

Overall, it's a great place if you’re looking for a cosy place to unwind or catch up with friends that isn’t in the heart of Ballymena or while you wait to go see a movie at the IMC

KFC Ballymena - Larne Road Link

The food was hot and fresh and the staff super helpful. One of our burgers wasn't right and they changed it quickly and without hesitation. The two fellas who were on couldn't have been more helpful. As KFCs go this is one of the better ones. As the photo shows the grub went down a treat!!

Millside Restaurant

Food was amazing. We were pasdong on our waubto Ballymena and were recommended to try Millside out.
We we not disappointed
Going for a 2 course lunch each was lobely ang great value.
Great attention to detail as my garlic fries had a good smothering of Parmesan on top.
The deserts were lovely and we will definately return to sample morr of the menu

Middletown Coffee Co

Really loved Middletown , everything is on point . The owner Johnny was cleaning up plates from tables a chatting to customers which is a great sign from my perspective . Highly recommended.

Grafters

Had cottage pie and chips and peas and gravy.
Was beautiful and so much I couldn't eat it all.
Service was fast ,friendly and efficient .
Great spot for a feed ,and all at a great price.

The Thatch Inn

Friendly welcome by the bar staff, nice warming log fire and friendly locals. Great looking menu, I had the double burger which was excellent though I couldn't eat it all! The Lady Manager was also very nice. Plenty of parking round the back in large car park. This pub is a few minutes off the motorway at Balamena, well worth a visit and recommend ?

The Coast Road Inn

Had a great Saturday afternoon in the Coast Rd Inn , the Guinness was good and as its dog friendly it was fantastic to enjoy a pint while out with our little dog.

Twilight Coffee & Bunkhouse

Stayed in the bunkhouse and ate at the coffee shop. The bunkhouse is lovely; spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Food and drink in the coffee shop is great too.

The Front Page Bar

Had my sisters 40th birthday party in The Front Page, we hired the room upstairs which has facilities for karaoke and it's also set up where we could play our own music. Brian and the team were more than accommodating, from the initial stages of organising right through to the night itself. We were incredibly well looked after and it was so evident that us having a good time was their main priority and we absolutely did. Nothing i asked for was a bother for them. I was delighted with how the evening came together with their help. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

First time visit with husband for a bite of breakfast. DELICIOUS ? food .Great quality sausage and bacon .Coffee was fab .All members of staff were friendly and helpful. Got a pleasant surprise when visting he bathroom .Similar to those in a five star hotel.Someone obviously cares a lot about this business and put a lot of effort in to the customer experience. Hawthorn & Rose

Stumbled across this gem in Cushendall, and my daughter and I are so glad we did.
A warm, friendly and smiley welcome from the lad behind the counter. Our drinks were divine. I had a raspberry matcha and my daughter had a cooler and she loved it.

We also had a Kinder Bueno tray bake and a pistachio tray bake which were also divine. Freshly baked goods are always great.

For what we got, the prices were very reasonable too.

Will definitely be back.

My friend and I got (very) off track on our way to Giant's Causeway and pulled over in Rasharkin in hopes of getting a meal. Evem though I think they were still opening, Charlie and Seamus took great care of us, helping us get oriented and fixing us each a cup of tea. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and kind. This ended up being one of the happiest stops we made during our entire trip to Northern Ireland! Many thanks ♥️

Booked for a family of 5 to eat in the Restaurant. Quick response and booking very easy. We arrived 5 minutes before our booking and were immediately seated and drinks order taken. \n\nMenu had loads of options and with 3 courses for £25 it was clear to see why the place was so busy. Our food order was taken and starters arrived soon after, the Brie and Cheesy Bacon Garlic Bread were amongst the orders and were fantastic.\n\nFor main course, we had a mixture of the roast beef, peppered chicken & chicken goujons. Portion sizes were excellent, but the quality was even better. The staff checked in regularly to ensure any additional requests were handled and for another drinks order. \n\nThe dessert menu arrived upon the clearing of plates and we just couldn’t resist when seeing the options available. Again, the portion sizes were amazing and everyone left feeling fully satisfied. \n\nWe cannot recommend The Diamond Bar/Restaurant highly enough. Everything was fantastic from start to finish, and we can’t wait to return!
