Decided to try the countrymans for a family meal out after not being there since before covid. Food was 10/10 and service was also great too! My husband had the special which was their take on a big mac burger and he really enjoyed it. I had the chicken atlanta which was as good as I remember it being! Portions were a good size and all the food was piping hot too! Nothing is too much trouble too.

Highly recommend the countryman! The staff are lovely and go above and beyond to provide fantastic service - we popped in for 1 drink and ended up having a few and returned the next day for roast dinner. Food is nice and reasonably priced. Ann, Sam and James are great thanks so much will definitely return soon x

Top marks to The Countryman. We received a friendly, warm welcome from the gentleman waiter who resembled Fred from 24 Dates. 'Fred' was professional, accommodating and nothing was too much bother. The interior is dated but not everyone likes cold modern restaurants and we enjoyed the character of it., We ordered pizza and 2 x kids meals. There was a bit of a wait but Fred explained that it's because the chef makes the pizzas fresh to order, including the bases, It was well worth the wait. Without a doubt one of the best pizzas we ever tasted, (including Italy) and the kids meals were delicious too. The bill was very reasonable and we will definitely return very soon.

Stumbled across this wonderful place today whilst up on holidays from Co Fermanagh and what can I say , it’s a hidden gem ! As a family of 5 with a newborn baby straight away we were welcomed with a massive smile ! The staff were absolutely wonderful with our children and wow the food was unreal ???? the portions were massive but nicely presented and the food was super tasty ✔️✔️ fantastic menu which something for everyone’s taste! Lovely atmosphere and I only wish it was closer or I’d be in every weekend ! Also thank you for the umbrella while we got the kids and pram packed up- was so thoughtful to come with one in that terrible rain shower- well done to each and everyone of one and thank you for making our day and being so brilliant with our children. Strongly recommend this lovely restaurant and well done to you all

Took my sister and a few friends to the countryman for her 60th birthday, the food was first class, I asked if the chef could do the fish grilled as opposed to battered which wasn’t a problem. James who was in charge tonight set up our table with balloons table cloth and decorations. Emma the head chef got her dad to do the birthday cake. Thank you so much. The young lad with the glasses, I think he was called josh was brilliant too. A big thanks to everyone who made my sisters birthday special. Will be back again very soon

Had the special on offer of t bone steak which was cooked to perfection and partner had chicken special which she really enjoyed service was very friendly and welcoming

We had an early evening meal here. The staff were friendly and attentive. We chose from the Senior Citizens' menu because we are eligible to do so. The portions are generous enough. The evidence of cleared plates proved how pleased we all were with our choices from the menu. Those who then opted for pavlova were amazed at how generous the helpings are.
