We popped in for lunch driving along the coast, what a great find! The food was amazing- we had the seafood chowder and the chicken stack, both outstanding. A nice guiness rounded out the meal, of course.

Quaint Irish bar. We only had drinks but the restaurant seemed busy. Staff were acomadating. For people who enjoy The Game of Thrones, will enjoy the prop door from the show!

Embarking on a culinary adventure at Mary McBride's Bar in Cushendun, I was treated to a delightful Seafood Chowder that instantly transported me to the shores of Northern Ireland. Brimming with succulent bits of fish, every spoonful was a taste of the sea, and the rich flavours left a lasting impression. As I relished the chowder, my eyes were drawn to an iconic display—the Game of Thrones door. It added a unique touch to the dining experience, blending culinary delights with the pop culture allure of one of the most acclaimed TV series. The ambiance at Mary McBride's Bar was warm and welcoming, complementing the hearty seafood chowder. It was more than just a meal; it was a sensory journey, where the taste of the sea met the fantasy world of Westeros. A memorable stop on my exploration of the culinary and cultural gems in Cushendun.
