Food was good, nice early morning fry up. Didn't have to wait long for the food to be served. Cash only

Food is decent except for the bread in a fry. Its deep fried instead of toasted. Soft drinks are too expensive. Its a cafe to eat and go. I prefer somewhere that you feel you can sit on after for a short while. No card facilities

Ordered a healthy avocado, poached eggs and bacon on sourdough..no mention on menu that it would be drowned I'm balsamic drizzle, to my daughters dismay. The avocado was past it's best so think it was an attempt to hide that. We left our food ,and when paying the bill, my daughter was asked was everything ok. She made a very apologetic mention that we couldn't eat it as something wasn't ok with the avocado. They kindly removed the 'avocado' as an item, and although we couldn't eat the rest was charged almost £18 for basically our drinks. Also sent across the road to get cash, with no prior warning.. After many years of going here, the last few experiences have made that the last visit unfortunately.
