any time we both be at this place the food is always great and serviced is great but however when i asked for non alcoholic fizzy that the next day that we both realized the bottle was full of alcoholic and not happy as i did contact them on their Facebook and they did not reply back Hmmmm shame on you ! Bearing in mind my wife was driving . Bottom line i did asked for non alcoholic fizzy but later we discovered it was full of alcoholic and yet no reply back and to be honest we both will not be back as it seems profit first with this place and putting us in danger driving and without a doubt losing our driving licence this placing knowing too well that they have a responsibility not to serve alcoholic that was requested none alcoholic but profit it seems to this place tut tut tut shame on you for not making contact to us !

The family were staying in Ballymena for a visit and called in to sanjha on the last night and could not be more pleased we did. The food was tasty and well presented and the staff pleasant and helpful l would definitely recommend a visit if in the area

As always, my family had an enjoyable evening: the food was good as was the house wines and attentive service. We had a variety of dishes and all were rated highly by my family. I only hope that more people in Ballymena will discover this gem of a restaurant in their midst. It will be a shame if this restaurant will ever have to close for lack of local custom.

Amazing and authentic food! I was craving for a real Indian Biryani all the way out in Antrim cost, this was 35 mins drive but went in anyway. Amazing food and the service assistant at the till was also helpful in confirming it’s halal and also very nice. The biryani was authentic and had fried onions and coriander etc unlike some fake ones around :)

Got a takeaway tonight, wished we hadn’t bothered or wasted money on it. The starters were atrocious - VERY oily onion bhaji, chicken pakora with soggy batter, soft poppadoms and no recognisable dips, even the “mint” sauce didn’t taste of anything much. Threw half the starters away. The naan was thin and soggy, certainly not freshly made in house. The main course of chicken bhuna was all sauce and very little chicken, eight tiny pieces. Half of the main went in the bin as well. Never again, total waste of £28!!!!

I ordered the chicken korma. It was a very thick consistency. To me korma is meant to taste like coconut. This did not and sadly I could not eat it.

This has got to be the WORST Indian meal I have ever had!!!! The meat in my Lamb Balti was older than me.!!! Not sure if I can give it to my dog!!!

Worst takeaway I've ever had, extremely poor value for money, small portion sizes, badly labelled, overcooked dry lamb, and collection time 25 minutes over advised time. Will never again purchase from this

25 minutes late after telling us it was ready to collect, tiny portions, tough meat, sauce pots not labelled so not sure what we were eating, abysmal. 75 quid for 3 mains and some sides, would not order again.

Banging food. If you’ve got more of an authentic palette then beware of how sugary the curries are, especially butter chicken. Some interesting items on the menu like mushroom puri. The dum biryani is a must try. Good interiors and clean.

Restaurant was quite busy but there was just one member of staff waiting on tables. She did her best but really needed help. Most Indian restaurants we've been to (including the other one in town) provide complimentary poppadoms but Sanjha do not. A bit mean, particularly as we discovered after leaving the restaurant we'd been overcharged by £4.The food was OK but portions were small.Overall would not go back.

Really unimpressed..Went here as it was recommended.Biyrani was like eating mint and cinnamon defo. I never tasted one like this in my life seasoned, completely incorrect. The rogan josh tasted like lamb pieces in tomato soup. The sides were nice though the rice and Nan

Have to say we had a first class 3 course meal here recently washed down with a few cold Cobras. Great service too. Would recommend.

When sanjha opened a few years ago now the food was exceptional. However, it has gone downhill very quickly. Got a delivery tonight and the food was horrendous. Store bought nan bread, all sauce and no chicken and over cooked rice. The dips with the poppadoms were awful. We paid £23 for rubbish. Tried to ring the restaurant but they lied about everything.
