Waited half hour paid just over £25. Food came home, burger was like a rock. Had to spit it out. Chicken was a 5th of the actual size cause the rest was all burnt batter. Our goujons were chopped up?!?! Lastly not only was the chip miserable and had looked like left overs from someone who was starving, it had a hair in it.

Have been here quite a few times, was always extremely impressed but this is the second time in a row couple months apart the food has been completely unedible burnt chips (over half the portions about 75% of them were put in the bin) Philly steak sub was missing half the ingredients & the ‘steak’ was full of fat and burnt. The bap was stale.Onion rings came in a puddle of dirty oilHusbands burger was burnt and full of liquid at the bottom of the box.Won’t be in a hurry back as have ended up having beans on toast with the chippy in the bin. Would have called back to send it back but live an hour away and sure as sugar ain’t driving another 2 hours for nothing.

Ordered my food, paid with cash, only to see the same person go a head and handle raw uncooked food to be cooked, served another person, then go back to touch my cooked food, no hand hygiene to be seen! When I questioned the girl I was told normally they all wash their hands, but it was a busy Saturday, hmmmmm 4 customers when every other chippi in town is absolutely packed! Next thing 5 staff all attacking me verbally at the counter at once, obviously no one watching the food being cooked, not that busy! Cross contamination is not acceptable and when I tried to explain this I was laughed at and asked to leave! Needless to say, never be back!

Woman on the phone was extremely unpleasant on the phone.Delivery was fast, food was appalling. It was swimming in grease, never ordering again. Waste of money.

Food was amazing. Ate in, very comfy. Staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend.
The goujons were fried on more than one occasion. So was the fish. We will never be returning. My dog food looks better than that refried stuff they sell. No wonder they don't open till 4pm when every other chippie opens in the morning.
