The Holestone
24 Main St, BallymoneyThe nut roast on the vegan menu is genuinely amazing. Easily the most delicious and fresh, and well prepared item of that type I've ever had at a restaurant. My only criticism is the music can be a little too loud, and one of the seats being right beside the bar seems a misstep and not really conducive to a relaxing and romantic meal. However, the food is so sensational that I wouldn't really care that much.

Daniel Gillan's, The Tower Bar
41 Church St, BallymoneyThe Tower Bar in Ballymoney has so far been our very favorite experience as travelers. We had the greatest pleasure of meeting Dan, the owner, along with Carl, Cliff, Alec, and Chris. We heard stories of the area and learned new phrases like “yin mare” (one more - ie, yin for the road and yin for around the corner) and got all the best recommendations for snacks, drinks, and food. Our visit here will be such a wonderful story we bring home. Thank you all for the incredible hospitality.

The Candy Store
3 Church St, BallymoneyMy granddaughter has loved calling into this wee sweet shop since quite young. Each time I have her in Ballymoney she usually doesn't go home until she has bought a few £'s worth of sweets especially mix ups. We find the fella who is usually there is very friendly and has a bit of a laugh ?

The Scenic Inn
38 Fivey Rd, Armoy, The Drones, BallymoneyThis was our 1st visit to this fantastic eatery. Not going to lie I needed the sat nav to find the place!! Sooo worth it. There's a lovely dinning room at the front and bar at the back with comfortable seating and a warm fire! We ate in the cosy bar beside the fire. We were dealt with by a lovely lady and another staff member. Such a warm welcome and great customer service. The main & puddings both delicious, very generous portion size and pints only £4.40! The food is also very reasonable priced. A hidden gem. Can't wait to go back again now we know where it is! ??

Tea at Tilly's
Main St, Armoy, BallymoneyWe stopped here for a late lunch while driving through Northern Ireland. The place is quite quaint with lots of small tables and charming staff. There is an assortment of sweets and the front as well as a general menu. I ordered a rhubarb tart with ice cream and tea. And my partner ordered a toastie with a milkshake. Everything was really good. I wish there were more places like this back home (Canada) because I'd go all the time. Worth a visit so I'd recommend giving it a chance :)

La Petite Baguette
18 Victoria St, BallymoneyOn Saturday, May 20, 2023 we were on our first day out of Dublin with our rental car. We were looking for The Dark Hedges but could not locate it on our in dash car GPS. So we stopped here for directions. We asked to use their private WiFi so I could look up directions n my phone and they kindly obliged us. This small place was quite busy with people eating breakfast. They also sell quite a nice assortment of pastries and fresh baked bread. The lovely aroma of the bread made us decide to buy a loaf. Thanks so much to the friendly staff here in helping out a couple of strangers. I highly recommend anyone traveling in this area to stop in. Very nice place.
