“On our visit to Bangor we tried this restaurant, all food here is Halal, it is at street corner and on 1st floor with no accessibility option, we parked our buggy downstairs and went up. The environment is good, it can become busy depending on the day and time so on busy days booking might be required. We didn't as it was not extremely busy. Apparently Saturday nights are busy due to live music till late. We were served Papadom with tamarind mixed onions (quite tasty) and some sauces to enjoy. Our order was modest included garlic nan (soft and tasty) with grilled tandoori platter (this was tasty and came with chefs sauce), this was good as well. The drinks do not include traditional drinks like lassi, or chai however when we asked we were served with sweet plain lassi and mango lassi, out of these mango was quite nice, no takeaway option for drinks though.
All staffs were friendly and very nice environment. Would recommend for desi/southasian taste buds.
Some of food is excessively coloured but I guess in some cultures this is norm and it's not a negative point, just a pointer for picture and looks.”

“We had a really good experience with Bilals as a first time take away meal. We were let down by our usual Indian so searched for a new one
And we found it. Gorgeous tasty, spicy meals; Recommend the Balti, Pathia and Tikka Massala. Huge portions and good top quality chicken. EXCELLENT”

“Absolutely breathtaking! From the moment I opened the door to my senses being enveloped by the tantalising aromas, Chillies transported me to a culinary wonderland. Each dish is a symphony of spices and flavours, crafted with an artistry that can only be described as magical.
The chicken jalfrezi, tender and bathed in a luscious sauce, felt like a warm hug on a cold night. Every bite was a revelation, the spices dancing on my tongue in perfect harmony. The naan, freshly baked and lightly charred, was the perfect vessel to scoop up the rich, flavourful gravies, each piece a delight of crisp edges and soft, fluffy centre.
The biryani was nothing short of divine. Each grain of basmati rice was perfectly cooked, infused with aromatic spices and layered with succulent pieces of meat. The burst of saffron and the subtle sweetness of caramelised onions created an experience that was both exotic and comforting.
Chillies is not just a meal; it’s an experience, a journey through the rich tapestry of South Asia’s culinary heritage. Each bite is a story, each dish a masterpiece. If you’ve never believed in magic, one taste from here will make you a true believer.”

“I have had, and continue to have, the most amazing and fantastic takeaway food - Takeaways are 11 out of 10 - On that basis I brought friends to the restaurant and we were all extremely disappointed - 1/2 price mains heralded 1/2 portions and poor quality - Come on Yaks, make the resturant as good as the very good takeaway”
