Had a lovely meal in the cafe staff wear very friendly, the garden centre staff were helpful and this would have been a 5 star review except when I went to pay for my plants the cashier didn't actually speak to me except to tell me how much my purchase. No please, no thank you. Maybe she was just having an off day!

I usually have enjoyed lunch with my husband over quite a few years but today I was spoken to by a very rude member of staff in restaurant the baked potato was not great with a big piece of ham stuck on top I did not eat ham but it was waitress attitude because I was putting dirty dishes on a tray really upset me. I will not be going back again

Love coming here with my mum! Shopping and food is such a good outing for families! Food is always amazing for lunch. I always go for the sweet chilli panini, so good!

Coffee shop ideal for larger groups of friends. Sat on the outside balcony which is ideal for dogs
Thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Great selection of food. Roast beef dinner was delicious. Hope to be back again. Friend bought lots of clothing. A great place to visit.

Go here for breakfast sometimes. Can be quite busy at times. The fry is good and the scrambled egg & bacon. Somebody bought my big cat ????

Really lovely Sunday lunch with my friend at Hillmount Castlereagh today. She enjoyed the Sunday roast - beef and I enjoyed the stew - a generous portion which also came with 2 slice of bread of your choice. We couldn’t look past the desserts either - roulade for her and a huge slice of pavlova with fruit for me. After the restaurant we also went shopping - very impressed by the large garden sculptures especially - the 3 pictured have made their way to my garden wish list. Some purchases of Christmas decorations for 2024 and a clock from the homewares section we finished our girls shopping day out with a walk over to see their reindeer and goats. The quality was superb and service incredibly friendly - we will be returning and would most definitely recommend.

We were at the Santa paws today. We have always come with a group of friends. Unfortunately elves were very rude, I am sure they know how they are. The santa was great as always and Mrs Claws too. We won't be back don't need attitude at this time of year. X

We've been going here for years. Best garden centre there is and food always delicious. Have tried other garden centres and nothing compares to hillmount. Staff are always so friendly and helpful ☺️, and that goes for hillmount in Bangor and Ards.
