Had a lovely meal in the cafe staff wear very friendly, the garden centre staff were helpful and this would have been a 5 star review except when I went to pay for my plants the cashier didn't actually speak to me except to tell me how much my purchase. No please, no thank you. Maybe she was just having an off day!

Really lovely Sunday lunch with my friend at Hillmount Castlereagh today. She enjoyed the Sunday roast - beef and I enjoyed the stew - a generous portion which also came with 2 slice of bread of your choice. We couldn’t look past the desserts either - roulade for her and a huge slice of pavlova with fruit for me. We've been going here for years. Best garden centre there is and food always delicious. Have tried other garden centres and nothing compares to hillmount. Staff are always so friendly and helpful ☺️, and that goes for hillmount in Bangor and Ards.
