We ordered carbonara which was swimming in oil, a stuffed crust pizza which the crust wasn’t stuffed. They were out of stock of 2 drinks we asked for and the staff did not come over during the meal to ask how it was. All over a very average and disappointing experience. If you are here in Belfast for a short time, just give this place a miss.

Avoid. We went for dinner . There were 8 of us- 4 adults and 4 children - to celebrate a 6 year olds birthday. The service was abysmal, even though there were probably only 8 other guests in the entire restaurant. We waited 15 minutes for anyone to come to our table for a drink order. Pizzas were cold when they got to the table. They had no ketchup for the kids’ chips in the entire restaurant. They forgot to put a candle on the birthday boy’s dessert, despite us asking when we ordered it. One of us had spaghetti bolognaise, and was up all night with stomach pain. No one checked in the quality of our food. They forgot drinks we ordered - we had to remind them to bring them. I could see the waitress eating ice cream as she prepared our kids’ sundaes. We will never return.

Nestled within the iconic Victoria Square in Belfast, Tony Macaroni beckons diners into a world of culinary splendour, where every dish is a testament to the passion and creativity of the Italian kitchen. From the moment you step through the doors, you are greeted by an atmosphere of elegance and sophistication, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Our culinary journey at Tony Macaroni began with a selection of appetizers fit for royalty. My son indulged in the tantalizing chicken wing starters, each one a crispy delight bursting with savoury goodness. Meanwhile, I savoured the anticipation of the feast to come, accompanied by a refreshing Coca-Cola to awaken the senses. As we awaited the main event, the ambience of the restaurant enveloped us in its warmth, creating a sense of tranquillity amidst the bustling surroundings of Victoria Square. Yet, despite the serenity of the setting, the service was regrettably slow, a minor hiccup in an otherwise impeccable dining experience. However, any concerns were quickly assuaged as our pizzas arrived, each one a masterpiece of culinary artistry. The crust, thin and crispy, provided the perfect foundation for a symphony of flavours that danced upon the palate with every bite. From the savoury goodness of grilled chicken to the vibrant freshness of garden vegetables, each ingredient sang in perfect harmony, a testament to the expertise of the chefs at Tony MacaronAccompanying our meal was a decadent orange juice for my son, adding a touch of indulgence to an already exquisite experience. And though the service may have faltered momentarily, the quality of the food spoke volumes, reminding us why Tony Macaroni is renowned for its culinary excellence. In conclusion, Tony Macaroni - Victoria Square, Belfast, offers a dining experience that transcends the ordinary, inviting diners on a journey of taste sensations that will linger in the memory long after the last bite has been savored. Despite the minor setback in service, the passion and creativity that infuse every dish ensure that Tony Macaroni remains a beacon of culinary excellence in the heart of Belfast.

Quite tasty pizzas and pastas. A vast menu ensures there's always something to choose from. The staff is friendly, the establishment is cozy, with a beautiful interior. Clean and well-maintained restroom.

We were looking for a place to have some nice pasta in Belfast and when we saw the reviews for this place, we decided to give it a go! It's inside Victoria square shopping centre, located on level 2.We ordered a minestrone for a starter and spaghetti bolognese and rigatoni Tony macaroni. The soup arrived very quickly as we were waiting for our pasta to be prepared. Everything was delicious, also spoke with the chef and thanked him.Service was very quick and kind.Big spacious and cozy seating area.Highly recommended!

Food was great, really nice. Service was good just a shame about some staff being grumpy and acting like they didn't want you there.

Once we arrived I had to ask the boy with the long hair can we have a table this was after standing at the bar for 8 mins then he went in front of us and put menus down on table I had to go up to the bar myself to get a drink the food was terrible I ask the girl what was going on her answer was I'm not a cook .. we left in a rush . I'm a big fan of this restaurant I visited a lot when in England and Edinburgh working . Please resolve my issues

Didn’t even have a chance to order. It wasn’t busy, no many tables taken and still we were waiting about 30 min and no one took an order from us. No offer from them when we said we are leaving.Another thing we were sitted side by side with other couple, looked like table for four, so zero privacy.

Great experince! At first when we went in there was a very nice waiter named Ray who was very nice to us as there was no walk-ins accepted but Ray let us in as he could tell we were really looking forward to it. We were treated with amazing service as people infront of us were there before us yet we still got our food first. Food tasted amazing and was perfect. Very fast service and a very nice waiter. Pizza and fries were very nice and salted perfectly. Me and my family loved it very much. If you’re going I would recommend booking before hand as it is usually very busy. At the end we left the lovely waiter, Ray a tip and he was very thankful. I would very much recommend.
