Wonderful stay under the new team!. Excellent refurbishment...wonderful colour schemes throughout. After many years staying at the Smugglers was anxious about change but neednt have worried! Really friendly staff...Emma on reception and Alan were excellent as were the waiting staff. A great team on duty this weekend! Our 2 granddaughters loved their stay, as always! Food excellent on Saturday evening and good entertainment in the bar afterwards. Really lovely breakfast this morning! So pleased to see the place retain its friendly and inviting atmosphere! Cant wait for next visit!

Lovely Hotel with hard working, friendly staff. Breakfast and Dinner were very nice. The only issue we had was our dormer room was tight for head space when getting in and out of the bed. Velux windows had blinds but light came through either side of the blinds.

(Now Grey’s) Location is amazing with easy access to see all that the coast has to offer. Service was top notch -we were treated like gold and appreciated Adam’s personal touches. The room was large with a wonderful view. Bathroom was very modern and spotless. Bed was very comfortable. Stunning sunrise and sunset Breakfast was excellent with a great variety to choose from as well as a la carte. The lady in charge was very knowledgeable and helpful. The bar in the evening was a perfect end to the day. Super friendly bar tender who made us laugh. The hotel is in transition with new ownership -extensive renovations have been done on the main floor with more to come. Obviously in very good hands.

Needed to change lodging unexpectedly. The Smugglers in is now Grays in. Was able to get a short notice room, called about two hours before we checked in. Lovely atmosphere and wonderful breakfast offered.Nearby activities: Five minutes from Giants Causeway

We ate dinner here following a recommendation from our B&B. Food was really good and fir the standard good value. Couple of hitches with service - took an order for wine with our meal and then forgot it, cleared one persons plate while the other was still eating. But otherwise good. Great sunset vantage point, though once the sun went down the spot lights outside were turned on blinding those still inside.

My Sister booked a reservation for a family meal recently and when we arrived for our meal the receptionist couldn't find our reservation, it was also under a different name, once we got it sorted we were shown to our table which was very nice upon receiving our menus we ordered our food which when came was nice but the portions where not huge for the prices that are on the menu, the atmosphere in the hotel though was nice and the Decor is lovely plus the bathrooms are well finished with a lovely glass engraving of a man and woman on each door..it's very convenient for visiting the north Antrim Coast

Just had an excellent lunch at the newly renamed Grays Hotel. Food was served quickly and was plentiful and piping hot. The kids fish was exceptionally good! Loving the renovations and refurbishment. Special thanks to Stuart, Eileen and Adam ??

Just went to the restaurant and the food was excellent. Battered fish lovely and hot with not too much batter and chips were lovely and crispy. Daughter had a noodle chicken stir fry which was gorgeous and wife had a burger which was top notch. Service good and scenery is stunning.

Now the Gray's Inn, this is a very elegant, nicely appointed hotel. Beds were super comfortable (firm, not squishy). The hotel is very close to the Causeway Way and our room had a wonderful view. The menu is updated from what is online for the old Smuggler's Inn. Great place to stay, Convenient to hiking and Bushmill's and the Causeway itself. Only weird thing was that they made us sign something about a 50 pound fine if you ate anything in your room that wasn't purchased at the hotel. That was a little off-putting, but we got past that pretty fast when we saw our room, which had a tub and a great shower.

Called in here last Monday while on holiday in Ireland. The service from entering to leaving was impeccable, very attentive front of house and waiting staff, the food was very impressive too, especially the steak and Guinness slow cooked beef.We loved it that much we booked for the Saturday night to take friends there who were flying over on the Friday. We were at a loss as where to go on the Tuesday night for dinner and we both quickly decided on the smugglers again (Grey's) as it was that good and very competitively priced. All in all we are there 3 times and was not disappointed at all. Can't wait to go back there, and have already started looking at staying here the next time. Highly recommend this to anyone.?

I used to love this place but since they’ve stripped the smugglers inn of all its character it’s not the same experienceI was so disappointed when I brought my extended family to see this amazing venue and to see that they have converted the interior to that of a premier inn is just so sad.The staff were friendly and kind as usual but there is no atmosphere. Please update the pictures on google & your website to prevent any other dissatisfaction.

The Smugglers Inn (Grays Hotel) in County Antrim, is just down the road from the Giants Causeway. We were a party of seven, four adults and three children. This is a beautiful hotel, which has recently been redecorated. it is clean and bright with lovely spacious rooms. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. They were delightful with the children. The food and wine were delicious and we slept comfortably in our beds that night. We had a lovely day at the Giants Causeway the following day. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we look forward to staying in this hotel again.

We decided to visit the Smugglers Inn as a family following a trip to the Giants Causeway. It turned out to be a fabulous decision! Firstly, the staff were attentive, personable and polite at all times. Although we hadn’t booked, we were made to feel welcome and were really well looked after. The food itself was outstanding and reasonably priced for the quality and portion size we received. The children’s meals were of a high standard, using quality ingredients and even our youngest who is a fussy eater, left completely satisfied. It far outweighed our expectations and would certainly visit again if we were in the area. The establishment itself was immaculately clean and smelt divine (The toilets included!)

Amazing location, views, and building. It felt like I was in a movie. I think the bed and pillows weren't very supportive or comfortable, but we were both so exhausted from travels it didn't matter and we fell right asleep! The bathroom however was very updated. Lovely lounge and decor, such a fun vibe and atmosphere! Definitely hoping to come back and stay for longer next time.
