We go here as a family because it is so friendly and welcoming. There is a good range of cakes, scones, other snacks and refreshments including a selection of Maud's ice creams. Highly recommended.Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly. Patient and helpful staff.
Sitting having just finished brunch and coffee. Good selection/choice on the menu. Clean, bright premises. Friendly staff, good service and food and coffee were good quality.

This is a great little café stop by and have a huge Irish breakfast or something slightly healthier. We both opted for the large and small breakfasts which were faultless.This is obviously a local hub and a friendly place for a stopover.It is comfortable, clean and decent value for money. We couldn’t take any photos of the food because we ate it too fast.

Come here pretty regularly whenever I stop by Whitehead, most recently at Easter. Usually for the excellent mini frys, but the odd lunch or pizza too. On a busy day it can feel a bit crowded inside but there is also open air seating, great for summer days. With regard to the recent incident (which I didn't witness personally), true to say there is not much space inside so can understand why toddler tantrums can't be accommodated. Parents need to understand health and safety law is there for their children too so staff would have been obliged to act.
