Tonight for the first time we decided to sit in and again had a good meal and decent service.
When we where leaving we decided to buy some Peshwari Nans to take with us, my wife ordered two nans and asked for plenty of filling (we always ask this) from any Indian restaurant as they are usually a bit skimpy with the filling, when we got in the car we checked the bag and noticed there was only one nan bread, the price we where charged was £5.25 when a peshwari nan according to their menu is £4.25, this already is the most expensive Peshwari nan that I have bought out of all the restaurants I have tried, my wife went back in to ask why there was an extra £1 charge and asked the girl on the counter why she had not gotten two nans as requested, to our astonishment the answer was that we had asked for plenty of filling so an extra £1 was charged and she had not heard my wife asking for two nans (thank god at that price) I have asked this place many times for plenty of filling with no extra charged levied and I think it would have been a courtesy to explain that this extra charged was now being applied, especially when we had just spent £55 in the restaurant, the cherry on the cake was that when we got home and opened the Peshwari Nan up to find the filling was no more than usual, so an extra charge for nothing…it might sound dramatic but sadly it has kind of put me off going back.

There was Special Valentines menu on all weekend. Good gluten free selection for my wife. We went for Prawn Pill Pill and Chilli Chicken starters followed by Surf and Turf and a Sirloin for mains. Cooked to perfection and plenty of various prawns on the S+T. Will definitely be back.

Everything was delivered right on time, and the staff were so friendly and happy to wait while we got set up. Fantastic service all round - highly recommend and will be back for any future parties or events.

71 Irish Quarter W, CarrickfergusJust had one of the most amazing pizza experiences, 'simply pizza ' Carrickfergus, and I'm not sure I'd want to share, as it's a pizza you'd want to keep for yourself.
Ordering was so customer easy and friendly, as they tell you how long before it'll be ready for collection.
It's a family run business, and it's run to a tee. As everyone is in sync with eachother.
Fresh dough, freshly made pizza, and friendly service.
We ordered a 16inch pepperoni, and it was absolutely delicious.
Every bite was worth the journey, and I must say, if you don't give it a go, then it'll be your loss.
Value and quality, is what you get, but if you don't taste, then you can only imagine.
So if you want proof of the experience, then call in, but it would be better to phone order in first, as it's guaranteed to be really busy.
Vegetarian options: Ask before ordering
Parking: Just outside, as it's on a one-way street, but always somewhere to park
Kid-friendliness: Who doesn't like pizza, and simply pizza caters for children
Wheelchair accessibility: Parking is just outside, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful

Staff really very accommodating. The boss gave us a homemade dessert after he found out that we were from Austria. The boss was very pleased that we visited his local place based on his recommendation. I can really recommend it.If you're not a local, you won't find such insider tips.

Minorca Place, CarrickfergusFirst class service, we have been doing the foodbank collection this weekend and the service we have recieved as volunteers has been amazing. Free coffee and tea plud free lunches for the volunteers. Thank you so much it makes our job so much more enjoyable. Feed back from the volunteers was, the food was delicious and there were healthy options too.

Alexander Pier, Rodgers Quay, CarrickfergusBrewers Fayre offer a good standard of food and service. I recently had a meal with my family. The menu was varied and had vegetarian and gluten free options. Hot, alcoholic and bottomless fizxy drinks on offer.
Some of our order was from the saver menu, however the standard fish and option was not available. In my opinion,
this is bad planning by the restaurant as its on the main menu everyday, so they should have plenty of fish in stock.
We ended with the more expensive fish and chips, haddock I believe which was
great. Toilets were clean and accesible.

Great prompt service from friendly and very attentive staff in particular chris who checked with us if we were happy with our meal and if we needed anything else… our table was at the window with a stunning view of the marina.

Also bought a portion of prawn crackers, which I’m pretty sure was made to order as they were fresh. All in £14.10 which was pretty reasonable.

63 Upper Rd, Greenisland, CarrickfergusThe food is amazing. I get the zinger burger normally, and it's great. The price for the food is very good too and they cater for kids. The bar is decent too and they have great screens for footy. Would definitely recommend the entire experience as a whole. GET THE FOOD THOUGH! Also have to mention the rugby field out the back. It's massively improved and they have teams for all ages. My kid plays in the younger team.
