First time ordering and definitely won't be the last! Food was very hot on arrival which took around half hr from ordering to delivery, great portion sizes and absolutely not greasy like another local chippy who's food needs 'wringing' out before eating (Victoria) and the prices are very reasonable (for the whole order which was to feed 4 people, I'd have expectedto pay alot more) Lady on phone who took my order was polite, friendly and is a credit to Maddies. Easy to pay via cash or card at the door so no having to rush to a cash machine. A++++

Decided to get from here cus of the reviews wish I didn't bog standard food only chippy I've had that don't give any chips with the sasuages or pasties portions are poor the chicken goujons were near burnt black the cheesy chip bearly had any cheese on them but what baffled me is the cheesy gravy chip at £4.70 came in a burger carton don't see how people are saying big portions when there not is it family and friends leaving the reviews ? two stars am leaving are for the decent sasuages and garlic dip and how quick it was prepared.

Drove past this place over a month ago and thought that I would give it a go as it was real close to my new home. Very glad that I did as all my family were very impressed with the quality of the food and the way we were treated by the staff. Nothing too much trouble and very friendly Portion size was great and the food was cooked to perfection ( Fish and Chips) needless to say we have been back several times already .
