Thee best in town. Very friendly staff eager to help in any way. We always get what they recommend on the day, this has helped us try different dishes we wouldn't have before. Never had a bad

we have dined here once a week since the place opened. I guess that's about 450 times. I've never been disappointed and know that the Mayur always aim for excellence. Try the chattinad or the Naga and maybe a side of Aloo saag. Thanks for all the delectable meals/drinks and good company we have enjoyed at the Mayur as you reach your ninth anniversary

Please read first before judging the stars. Hard to summarise all these aspects when I had no service what so ever. Restaurant was completely empty. I was sat down with a menu straight away. No drinks orders taken and then nothing............no service at all. I decided to leave and that was the cue for the wait staff to suddenly take interest. Not good enough, I can't remember another time that I got up and left a restaurant for this reason. On the flip side the place I went to instead gave great service. So for the star rating, service deserves no stars, it was non existant. The food, sadly, I didn't get to try so ignore the one star rating. I can't rate it, but I really wanted to. I can't select anything else so not an appropriate rating system. Atmosphere... No one else in there and not relevant to me. Ignore the rating.

Excellent food, the keema naan being the best i’ve had with perfectly spiced curry’s too. The staff were also kind and attentive and had a good conversation with the charismatic owner.

Comprehensive menu. Poppadoms were accompanied by 3 tasty dips, the salsa one being very spicy. Onion bhajis were good & accompanied with another spicy sauce. The mains were delicious & full of flavourful tender meat. Staff were friendly. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. It was my first visit Thursday lunchtime and it was quite busy which is usually a good sign. The staff were very friendly and courteous and I was seated and had my order taken reasonably quickly. I went for the three course lunch special at a touch under thirteen pounds. It turned out to be a great choice starter of chicken pakora was delicious and a generous portion for the price. Had a main of chicken madras with pilau rice again very well presented and spicy as I like my curry.Ice cream to finish the staff were attentive without being too intrusive and asked me if I had a good meal the answer was a resounding yes.I will return again as soon as I can possibly for the early bird menu in the evening which is also great value. Would recommend this place try it you will be happy that you did.

Best Indian meal I have had. My wife also thinks it's the best she has had. 5 stars is a first. Loved it.
