First time ordering from Thap Thai, food was ready at the arranged time, really freshly cooked, vegetables were crispy and tasty, I had the Chicken Cashew nut, Chicken red Thai for my wife, ( very spicy) and Spring Rolls for starters, definitely not your usual takeaway, I can't fault the food or the service!!!

We had some friends over for a take away Thai meal. There were 7 in all. I arranged an hour before what we wanted - hot/spicy, medium or simply tasty. Thap Thai’s food is alway cooked fresh. An hour later everything was ready. The different dishes were outstanding. Our guests were very impressed. Liam and Pim have done it again! We continually recommend Thap Thai to our friends. It is our regular ‘go to’. It’s far better than any other takeaway food in our area. It’s authentic cuisine. Many thanks Thap Thai!

Tonight I thought I would treat my son and daughter in law over from Scotland to a Thai treat . So we read the reviews to see what was good , after reading the reviews for Thap Thai we would try it . I have never thrown a meal in the bin ever after paying for it , but this was the most disgusting Thai I have ever tasted . I think they must be writing their on reviews . The sauces where like water , do yourself a favor do not waste your money

The pork red Thai curry and the pad Thai noodles are delicious.The little take away is very welcoming and staff are lovely. They are more than happy to make suggestions or give advice, if customers need a little help choosing or are trying the food for the first time.Happy to recommend to others.

For me this is the best take away in Carrickfergus. Everything is so fresh and the fact it’s all cooked in front of you speaks volumes. The couple who own the place are so pleasant and will tailor any meals if you so wish. The pork pad kapow is my favourite, though any other dishes I’ve had are superb. A wee nod to the pork spring rolls too! An absolute gem in the town.

Tried this place for the first time to tonight, it is absolutely delicious! Really nicely balanced flavours and the seafood was perfectly cooked not rubbery or unpleasant. 10/10 will visit again

I just got red thai curry, and it looks lovely but can't eat it as it has too many chillies in it. I will get some coconut cream to add to it the next time, I order.

Just finished my first meal which was Chicken Red Curry and a Chicken chilli and broccoli special. It was absolutely fantastic- so much flavour. Just beautiful. The owners are super friendly and gave us complimentary prawn crackers.Highly recommended, we will be back definitely!!!
