I'm a very honest fellowhad my tenth meal from here today fish n chips with a side of curry and gravyLots of people would say £10.85 is a rip off for one fish n chips but was an early birthday treat from my bro and I'd say it's money well spent. Could easily feed 3 ppl with one portion which it did cause small stomachs but cracker placeI can see why it's an award winner, Staff are always friendly and professional, i like the fresh open atmosphere with available seating, i like that they put out little condiments etc you can grab yourself foods always mwah it's hard to find anything to complain about here, Ty for such amazing food and service ?

I got a portion of fish bites which I have had before and all ways enjoyed it,nice size portion.But this looked like a child portion of six chicken nuggets????

Firstly I want to say I'll never be back or recommend this to anyone, ordered to collect, chips missing from order, was put in the book that we were owed this, next week I placed an order and got the chips that were missing, the guy who served us put two tubs of boiling curry sauce upside down in the bag, it scalded my son's girlfriend's legs so badly they blistered and was very badly burned. Of course we contacted them and were told the manager would call us back, this never happened and our phone calls went ignored. This is extremely dangerous way of packing and needs to be looked into. Bad customer service from management, never be back!!

They have lost or really never knew the art of making Fish and chips etc. I could go on and on but what's the point they don't care. If there was a prize for making GREASY & TOO MUCH batter then the Fairy would get first prize.

Not good. Has got very expensive and one of the most expensive in the town. First off staff member walked away after serving peeson in front of me, without even acknowledging me. Hard chips, I don't mind crisp but have to be soft and fluffy inside. Pastie was soggy and batter coming off. The curry sauce was watery and lumpy, wouldn't have thought this was actually possible, but it was, it was actually watery with lumps, perhaps they hadn't stirred the mix enough. There area few others which get rave reviews that we haven't tried yet and are cheaper so will try these. Honestly don't know how it wins awards.

The worst chicken burger ever!! Loved the friary…. Last time I got a chicken burger it was a breast of chicken…. This time the breast of chicken had clearly been in a road traffic accident with a truck… flat as a pan cake and a teaspoon of mayo! Loads of onion and lettuce though….. perhaps they thought I wanted a healthy lunch rather than the gorgeous big battered chicken breast smothered in mayo chicken burger that I couldn’t get out of my mind … are they in cahoots with slimming world ??????

I just want to let you know that the two senior cod suppers I purchased from your good selves a short while ago ( the oul woman with the blue face according to her hubby) ? were the best fish and chips we have ever had. It's fabulous in these very uncertain times that there are still skilled fryers. Thank you so much for your kindness. We sat and enjoyed immensely down at the waterfront. Nothing like the BEST FISH AND CHIPS at the sea ? ? ? ? ? ?
