We were in last Saturday with a dog. The staff were so welcoming to us and the dog, even give him some bits of sausage. I really enjoyed my food and we loved the atmosphere. I will definitely be going back. Have already recommended them to family members who have a dog.

I’m genuinely confused looking at these reviews as the experience I received in this cafe last week was far from “friendly” and “quick”? - I don’t think so. I visited with 3 friends and their very young child last week. Ordered the food fine to be waiting just less than an hour for 2 fry’s and some French toast. We all had appointments after this so we organised to have enough time to eat etc. Being a manager in hospitality I ‘hate to be that person’ but even the attitude of the (I assume) owner when I questioned this was horrific! All the other tables of SMALLER orders who were in AFTER us got served, how frustrating. Maybe if the staff don’t walk about touching an iPad screen pretending to do work I might have had an all round better experience. If 0 stars was allowed that would have been the most appropriate

No sticky tables here. Super menu. Plenty space to park across the adjacent level crossing. Food beautifully presented and delicious. An absolute gem.

We visited with our dog Lucy for breakfast. The welcome was fabulous, food great and prompt service. Lucy also loved her sausage. A great spot for dog lovers.

I go there every Friday for lunch, and no matter what time I come, whatever I order is always the best hospitality staff, fresh foods, great taste sources, deep taste good coffee and reasonable price. Best of all, the sandwich bread is perfectly toasted.
Nice small cafe. Two coffees with oat milk only £5, but sadly no vegan eatables.

A lovely location looking on to Whitehead Station, we felt very welcomed here However we where very let down by the service. We understand it was busy in the cafe However we had a 1hr wait to get our drinks 1 coffee, 2 teas and a diet coke. This was such a long wait and we were discussing leaving since we had a boat to catch and we couldn't wait all day. We also ordered 3 vegetable soups. After 1 and a half hours of waiting we finally received our food but it wasn't what we ordered. We received 1 veg soup and 2 potatoe soups. Thankfully the lovely lady took our soups back. After another long wait we finally received our vegetable soup but this time the soup was sadly really disappointing. It tasted like like warms water with a hint of veg. It was rather gross and lacked seasoning. Sadly we couldn't finish the soup so we paid and left. I was disappointed in this experience because the Saturday before we visited my brother had a wonderful experience. Thank you for the beautiful cafe but please next time try season your soup more

Welcomed in like friends, really lovely place with local crafts being sold alongside fab food. We got a fry and tea, very tasty and reasonable prices! Poached eggs were perfect. The lady who took our order was so friendly, all the staff were. We left with happy tummies and adorable home wares (I got a little handmade frog teddy and a hand painted cat on a sea stone - amazing. Will definitely be back!

Our walking group from Bangor stopped here today. Everyone of us can say with all honesty best service, prices, and food have had in a long time.Recently taken over the staff are superb. Great selection of food and sell some amazing gifts as well. Highly reccomend.WE WILL BE BACK.
