“Absolutely love Maginn's. It's always a busy spot, but staff always manage to get you a table. I have visited many times with just a few of us or as a large family group. Adults and kids alike love the food. The staff are really friendly and can't do enough for you. I normally go for the steak or house burger, but I was there last week and decided to try the chicken stack with bacon and leek sauce. It was amazing! My nephew also swears that it's the nicest lasagne in the country. Whenever I'm in the area I always call here and if I'm not driving I love to get their lovely creamy Guinness. It always goes down a treat.”

“It is a small cafe and restaurant inside the Castlewallen Forest Park. It serves Vegetable soups, chips and other plates that are nice for fast lunch. It also serves dessert including some really nice cakes. Also, it serves hot drinks like tea. It has a lovely fire heating with nice antiques around. Unfortunately, it does not accept card, you can only pay by cash.”
