Turnip House

Had a really enjoyable experience here today. Very unique place, a lovely couple who provided us with just what we needed. Soup and warm scones with cake and coffee to follow. All freshly prepared, simple but tasted great! Excellent value too. Will definitely return!

Old Tom Bar

Absolutely loved this wee place. And the pints of Guinness were the best we've ever tasted! The landlady was an absolute gem who made us feel as though we've known her our whole lives. Such a quirky little pub and I'd image it to be full of characters on a busy night!

Birch Castlewellan

The volenteers/workers are Great People , Friendly and welcoming , Always Smiling and being very nice , and the Cause is Great , Come on people go have a coffee and spend some money

Luna Coffee

My family and I visited Luna whilst at Elmfield Estate today. We had coffees, a cinnamon swirl, a spiced apple bun and 2 Lemon Meringues. The Lemon Meringues were amazing. Lovely and gooey with a sweetly sharp zesty lemon curd. Absolutely fantastic ?? I could have ate a full tray of them ?? The coffees were delish with lovely frothy heads. Just what we needed on a blustery morning.

The Yard Restaurant

Very tasty quality turkey and ham and Christmas pudding. Roaring fire, Christmas background music, spacious with beautiful decor. Friendly,efficient service from Grainne and the manager. Very good value-especially the lunch menu 12-4pm: 2 courses for £18!

Maginns

We had a lovely meal in Maginns. The staff are very attentive and courteous. My wife and I both had the chicken stack and it was delicious. We shared the cheese cake and it was so tasty. I would also add that prices are very reasonable compared to Belfast.

Mrs Coleman's Bar

Stayed for 1 night with my wife and had a great time, Food was great and staff were excellent with a special mention for the barman, I think his name was Caolin? Great setting with everything you need for a much needed night away! Highly recommend....

The Maghera Inn

Great busy atmosphere. Food wise portions are very generous. Chicken liver parfait and crumbed mushrooms were good starters and then the salmon was OK - huge portion of salmon. Sausage and mash also good. The onion rings were disappointing and wouldn't order again. Too much batter and the onions were very bland, basically just a doughy flavour.

Nana's Kitchen

We had the pleasure of dining in Nana's Kitchen. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome. The food was delicious. But what truly stood out was the service. We had 2 babies in tow and were crying the whole place out but the staff were understanding and genuine. They even offered to keep the food warm for us when we were trying to soothe the babies to sleep. This restaurant is a gem, and we wholeheartedly recommend it. Exceptional experience.

Turley's Bar

With views of the Mourne Mountains be sure to reserve a window seat. The food was excellent and a good selection of dishes on the menu. The atmosphere was relaxed. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Good selection of beers etc. Would easily recommend based on my experience.

Savage's Bar

Average looking bar but the owner, staff and customers make it a special place. Always a good crowd in on a Saturday night for the live music. Quickly becoming my local and a welcome change from Belfast.

Really liked this place. Really nice food (especially vegan lasagne). Good coffee. 5 of us - everyone liked their food (only 1 of us veggie). Would go back. Nice space and staff

Taste of New York Pizzeria

Cannot recommend this place enough, 54 of us went away and they delivered nearly 50 delicious pizzas to our group along with chips. Unbelievable service and efficiency - ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great flavour same about the amount of sauce put on the gravy chip I ordered, slow service but over all worth it if not getting a gravy chip, the cheesy curry chip I also ordered was

Great local cafe, with a good selection of food and coffee. A perfect spot if you've been in the park, or just want somewhere to hang out with friends.Parking: There's a few spots out the front which usually have space, otherwise there's a car park a minute away.

Got a large gravy chip and almost exploded with excitement when I saw it even tho it looked like diarrhoea with pieces of lumpy poop in it. I’m in other words a great feast and a lovely happy experience. Big shout out to the staff eoghan Breen he was a true gentleman and really made the experience a lot better for me. A 10/10 restaurant and will always have a place in my heart❤️❤️?
