Visited the jailbird on friday night with a large group and had the pleasure of Paula serving us. There were some stock shortages but she made sure to offer alternatives for us which was great. She was brilliant at making the cocktails. What a great asset to the company she is! Everyone was chatting on Saturday about how well she looked after us! Will definitely be back!

Myself and my partner had a midweek dinner at the jailbird, and had the pleasure of Paula serving us. I mentioned that we were having friends over at the weekend, couldn’t get a booking for the jailbird but would be inside in Time if there was anything available on the night to move outside if she would keep us in mind. Of course you’d think in the craziness of a Saturday night that would be forgotten about but true to her word Paula came to find us, and didn’t stop until she had us on the best table, despite at last minute adding another 2 to the party. Not only Paula but all the bar and floor staff were absolutely amazing, so professional, courteous and above all a great laugh and made us feel as though we were great friends of all the team. A great night was had by all, and we will certainly be back the next opportunity we have! Thanks to all the amazing team, there’s not many like you all, and it really makes a difference to the whole experience.

We had a great experience for my partners birthday. It was a Tuesday night so the place was quiet but it didn’t affect our experience. The food was delicious and very different- we got the spice bag (huge portion) and the 3 for £10 - duck hoisin wings, Buffalo chicken bites and tempura king prawns. Perfect food for friends at a table when having a few drinks.The cocktails were top class and reasonable. The service could not have been better, so friendly and accommodating.The jailbird would not be out of place in any major city in the UK and Ireland. In fact it’s better than a lot of establishments in Dublin and Belfast.Paula the manager is the friendliest and most professional person ever, really goes out of her way to make your night a success and she is a fantastic host.
