Subway
1 William St, CookstownThe choice available is great, and your sandwich can be made anyway you like. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was what you'd expect from a sandwich shop, fairly flat and uninspiring. The food is fresh and very tasty, and that's what counts more.

The Jailbird Garden Bar
40-42 James St, CookstownVisited the jailbird on friday night with a large group and had the pleasure of Paula serving us. There were some stock shortages but she made sure to offer alternatives for us which was great. She was brilliant at making the cocktails. What a great asset to the company she is! Everyone was chatting on Saturday about how well she looked after us! Will definitely be back!

The Pizza Box Cookstown
53 James St, CookstownSo far only been here twice ordering the same meal a Mixed Kebab. The food was excellent and I'll be back. One thing they do which is a nice touch is surround your food with tin foil to help keep it warm, not noticed this done anywhere else.

Bob & Berts Cookstown
5 Burn Rd, CookstownFirst visit and will definitely be a regular from now on. I took my mum here for Mother’s Day as it’s dog friendly. The food was tasty and reasonably priced, service was fast, lovely comfy sofas and spotlessly clean. The staff were excellent: friendly, efficient, eager to please and, most importantly, brilliant with our wee Yorkie Trixie.Kid-friendliness: I’m writing about dog friendliness rather than kid friendliness as there isn’t a separate option. We were able to take Trixie inside and she had a great time. Lots of people, including staff, came over to make a fuss of her which she - and my mum - love.

The Belfast House Bar
3 Orritor St, CookstownOutstanding accommodation with exceptional levels of service. My wife and 2 grandchildren stayed in The Belfast House with me in a large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable family room. We enjoyed really comfortable beds, a very well equipped en suite shower room and lovely bed linens and towels. The home cooked breakfast was superb in quality of ingredients and presentation. It was made from fresh ingredients each morning by the proprietor JJ who was friendly, professional and made us so welcome. We will come back in the near future and most highly recommend this establishment which also features a delightful pub. Thank you to JJ and his colleagues.

The Courtyard Restaurant
56 William St, CookstownMy husband & I have ate her on four occasions over the last few months as I was attending the local Charis Centre & each visit the food was beautiful Everything is freshly cooked to order & there is a great menu with daily specials as well. The food is reasonable & good portions & the service is great. I love the fresh fish dinner on a Friday & just wish I had the opportunity to visit the Courtyard restaurant more often. Jackie the lady who owns it , her daughters & staff are so welcoming & they have built up a great business serving excellent food & I would highly recommend this restaurant. Wish there was a restaurant like this is Newry.
