Great authentic Indian food. Located beside the Coach Club. Takeaway available as well as sit in. Only ever use the takeaway service.

This restaurant is unfortunately not in the best location for foot traffic but I would recommend going for the food and service. The gentle man, who I assume owns it, greets, seats, serves and is the Jack of all trades. He’s very professional, kind and attentive. The food is traditional and comes in beautiful serving bowls. Full of flavour and spice! Don’t let the quiet or simple decoration stop you from trying this place!Vegetarian options: There’s vegetarian options available!

The food was excellent and the staff member was very friendly, I can’t fault the service or the food. Bit of a weird atmosphere as the place was almost empty when we were there (one other table occupied), and the decor is very dated with an obvious damp smell. That being said, the restaurant was clean and food was served quickly. I’d probably go back for takeaway but not for another dine in experience.

Comically bad customer service. I hadn't heard of this place before, but my partner bought a Groupon voucher for it and I thought 'how bad can it be'? Upon telephoning to book a table she was told there would be an additional £2 charge per person if using a Groupon voucher. The guy was quite curt. When she pointed out that this extra charge wasn't mentioned in their offer, she was told to take it or leave it. We left it. Groupon refunded the voucher which was nice. We wouldn't normally take a chance on somewhere with such shoddy reviews. In 2022 you need to be on top of your game to survive in hospitality - this place ain't!

Myself and daughter went tonight ..was greeted by an creepy rude cheeky waiter /chef. My daughter she we have a groupon. His reply was 2 pound surcharge. She said pardon.he said i'm speaking English in an nasty voice .food going up so surcharge I wanted to leave there and then .when had food .vile heated in microwave etc etc .. naan was snelly shop bought. Decor tired smelly and dated .won't be returning. Reported to groupon for fase advertising. And phoning .environmental health department first thing in the morning.

Have dinned at many Indian restaurants but always come back here for the food. Definitely our preferred choice.

Rang to book a table to use a Groupon I bought, to try the place but apparently they don't take Groupon on a Saturday. Bit of false advertisement by revivals.

Gordon, are you up for your biggest challenge yet? Decor, ambiance, and temperature - dire! Host/waiter - a badly presented, rude, Indian version of Basil Fawlty Food - mainly tasteless, partly inedible Bill - eventually calculated correctly, but only the bottled Cobra worth paying for Worst restaurant experience ever. If you do come here Gordon, perhaps you should just bring a couple of gallons of petrol and a box of matches.

Where to start …….. Large, cold restaurant. Absolutely no atmosphere . Food was dreadful. Chicken pakora dripping in grease. Onion bhajis were flat and tasteless. When we complained we were told that’s how bhajis should be ( flat I mean) We apparently should have ordered onion pakoras . Lamb saag was tasteless & lamb tikka so sweet ! Naan bread was not naan bread ; it was a chapati . Waiter didn’t respond well to comments. We didn’t know proper Indian food. Then we were overcharged! Not a good experience. We won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend.

I visited this restaurant on Saturday evening with the intention of having a meal with my husband. On arrival, I produced my covid passport on my phone and was told "you can't use your Groupon on a Saturday night". Whilst it was my covid passport I was showing him, not a Groupon (which begs the question are they even asking people for these if he didn't know what one looked like), I did indeed have a printed Groupon in my handbag that I intended to use. He told me "you didn't tell us you had a Groupon when you booked", I told him I didn't think I needed to. (I'm aware that with some deals you do need to state this however it clearly states on my voucher "just show the voucher on arrival". He abruptly stated "it's in the terms and conditions", which I pointed out it wasn't. He then repeated I "could not use on a Saturday, only Sunday to Thursday" and it was "in the terms and conditions". I showed him my voucher (attached), where it states it was valid on Saturdays between 5pm and 10.30pm. He again grunted, "it doesn't matter, we can change it if we want". At this point I left the restaurant as after the way he engaged with me I no longer wished to try to actually eat there! Of course he would have let us sit had we been willing to pay for something we had already purchased a voucher for but after his attitude I did not wish to give him any money. We turned around and left and got booked in last minute to a lovely restaurant in Moira - Masala Hut. They were busy but fitted us in and we had a very enjoyable meal. From the outset we knew this restaurant would be good, as it actually had customers! They were queued for takeaways and most tables were occupied which says everything. In addition to the man's attitude in Revivals, their lack of knowledge of what a covid passport looks like, to the rickety old doors and disgusting carpet, I can't imagine why anyone would want to eat here. This was evident from only one table being occupied at 7.30pm on a Saturday evening, the rest being empty. Unsure as to why this man wouldn't have actually wanted to seat us, as had we enjoyed, he may have got repeat business. Having visited and seen the place though, this is highly unlikely. I have since received a full cash refund from Groupon due to the fact what I paid for was not what was advertised and the terrible service received in the restaurant. I have also asked them to speak with the restaurant to confirm what they are actually offering, so it can be changed on teh Groupon site and noone else expects to use their voucher on a Friday or Saturday. Is this restaurant advertising it can be used on weekends to take money from the public, only to refuse them service in the hope they will make more money? It's evident they need it if the amount of tables occupied on Saturday evening was anything to go by and I can certainly see why. A rare evening of babysitting almost ruined by Revivals but saved by Masala Hut. I can definitely say I will never visit Revivals again and will tell anyone I know the same. As for the food, I can't comment as we didn't have any, but if it's anything like the host and it's surroundings, I'd avoid at all costs.

My partner and I went here thinking we where going somewhere swanky because its in hillsborough. We walked through the door and it was like stepping back to 1980, the decor is very dated, not only that the restaurant itself is cold, they have a fire and heaters, they just don't turn them on or keep them down low,. One man seemed to be doing everyone's job, he was waiter bar man and possibly cook ???, my kebab starter was OK a bit chewy, but the rest of the food wasn't great, the Nann bread seemed shop bought, and the dishes didn't have much of a kick, they also seemed more watery than creamy. If your into your Indian food this isn't the place for you
