Ate there today - 21 Feb - 2024Restaurant pleasant enough and clean. The staff came across as SLIGHTLY unfriendly. Perhaps they are more task oriented rather than people oriented?Prices reasonable - although greatly increased in the two years since the photo of its menu was uploaded to your website.Very pleased with the goat’s Chees and beetroot salad. Would definitely have this again.

Village Pizza

My Girlfriend and I got dinner at village pizza tonight, we got a pizza, potato puffs, 2 dips and 2 drinks for under £20, great value for money and quality of food. Would highly recommend to anyone passing through hillsborough or anyone who lives near. All food very flavoursome and left us both stuffed.

Mill Farm

Great spot for breakfast and/or lunch. Welcomed by a smile and shown to a seat. Once you choose your food you go up to counter to order and pay. Host more than happy to keep the ‘tab’ open so that you can pick your dessert and drinks after main food. Lovely outside space for eating also when the weather allows.

The Plough Inn

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the Plough Inn. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and tastes fresh, The Pub had many great seating areas to enjoy a drink with friends.

The Parson's Nose

Walked in for late lunch Seated straight away. Service was great. Had the beef burger and my wife had the Woodfire pizza special. Burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had. So juicy and tasty. Great spot to stop into.

Subway

Absolutely brilliant service, alot of love went into the sub and made it extra special, kudos to the staff.Also the dining area is magnificent with at least 20 seats and tables, lovely place would highly recommend sitting in!

The Vintage Rooms at The Plough

I do like the vintage rooms and the service is very good, along with the food. If you're lucky and have a window facing the main entrance to Hillsborough Castle, then enjoy the view.

Chip Hawker

First time back at Chip Hawker from it’s been under new ownership and have to say the food was top notch. Service was excellent. Couple of bones in the fish but isn’t a massive issue.

The Hillside

We were here for St Patrick's weekend. And managed to book a table for the Sunday!Meal cost £91.303 courses for 2 people and 3 soft drinks.The pil pil prawns to start were very good!Partner had the Asian pork belly bites and he said they were also good.I had the lamb shank which was superb! Partner had the beef roast and also said the same.The puddings were a bit of a let down but would highly recommend the starters and main!Service was good considering the busy weekend.There was a live band on and atmosphere at the front of the pub!

Curry Leaf

This was a lovely little fine, especially on a Saturday evening. It was quite very busy and I think that they might have been shorthanded as the orders were taking longer than they advertised.Nevertheless, the staff was fantastic and very gracious, and the food was delicious! They are quite large portions, so perhaps consider sharing.Would happily visit again!

Great big portions and family friendly service nice to have a good takeaway around especially with all other restaurant outlets currently closed also a speedy delivery service when needed
