Had Mum's 80th Birthday party near Christmas. The staff were so helpful during the organisation & for pre booking menu choices. I could give them a ring any time. The staff on the night were very friendly, helpful & up for a bit of banter. They could not do enough for us to make us comfortable & relaxed. The food was excellent & really good portions. We had a guest who was vegan & she was very pleased with the options she had. I was thoroughly recommended this restaurant & it wint be long until we are back.

We had a Christmas Dinner at Coast which was the best Christmas Dinner we had this year! The food was of excellent quality and the Service was very good.

wow what can I say about this gem of a restaurant. My 2 friends and I called in on the hop, we were given a great table upstairs. Our lovely waitress despite it being busy was very attentive to our needs. 2 of us had the garlic mushrooms which were absolutely delicious. We all had different mains, they were all fantastic, then the 2 girls finished with a lovely dessert, all of this at a reasonable price. The service was excellent

Booked a table for two on a busy Thursday evening, arrived a little early and the hostess could not have been more accommodating. Choosing from the early bird menu our food arrived promptly and could not be faulted, if you like fish, I'd highly recommend 'old smokey'.

If I could leave no starts I would. They ruined our 1st outing in 4 years with 4 of my residents and 2 carers. I booked a table downstairs due to mobility issues and when we turned up the booking was upstairs. When I told then I had booked downstairs it was like they didn't believe me. I was told your booking is upstairs and that was that.My elderly residents cannot go upstairs. We ended up on two separate tables which ruined our Christmas lunch. I was embarrassed that they were left standing while I had to justify the fact that I booked downstairs and why. The atmosphere was awful because we were on opposite sides of the restaurant. I will not be in The Coast again and will tell anyone who will listen how we were treated. I know it may not affect or bother you but I need to tell people how we were treated.
