51 High St, HolywoodIndian food at it best, great for veggie, vegan foodies! This Kerala restaurant is my go to for comfort food (luckily they’re my local, I often get portions for mid week prepped food). I’m on a plant based diet and love having their team (always friendly and great chats) recommend seasonal vegetables dishes (off menu). A fabulous choice when you want a social meal - my go to social evening is selection of naan’s, mix vegetable starter and sides of saag paneer, aubergine curry, courgette curry and perhaps a chickpea curry. Their samoosa’s are worth a mention handmade just like Kerala street food. All that is missing is the beautiful Kerala beach and river setting. But still perfect to fight the winter blues! Can’t recommend more highly!

The Dirty Duck Alehouse
2-4 Kinnegar Rd, HolywoodThe service and food was very good in the bar area despite being busy. We always had staff on hand for drinks. The sweet chilli chicken dish in the picture, is a starter but can be made upto a main dish. It was delicious. The burgers were lovely too. Well done staff!

Has everything I like , privacy on window stool to read my kindle, relaxing & pleasant ambiance ( incl the music choice) but best of all great coffee , stunning scones & very friendly staff & owners ….. haven’t tried the other foods/ meals but they look top class also ; always meets my expectations, never disappoints!

Hi mate Hi mate Merry Christmas and I went to the pizza and I got a pizza 12 with margarita flavour had I also got a drink and it was Coca-Cola flavour and then I got garlic let me think she had garlic dough. I added it it was like £12 and it was pretty nice and then I ate it and then I’m gonna get my order soon but quite nice thank you and the workers were actually very kind as he said have a nice night and then I said no I didn’t say it actually said you too. One of the workers looked at it because he had a bad haircut that is why I gave the atmosphere one done no no no no no no no I’m not stop they’re going to check. I don’t know. We can’t go back to the crib yet.

25 Church Rd, HolywoodWe had a fabulous meal here on saturday early evening before a show. Their menu is a bit different to the usual offerings these days and the set menu is decent value. The broccoli tempura was amazing and a very generous portion. Scallops very tasty too. Main courses of lamb and chicken schnitzel we equally delicious and we had to take home leftovers which we devoured later after a night out! They have a good selection of more reasonally priced wine. The staff couldn't have been any nicer and the restaurant had a cool wee vibe.

81 High St, HolywoodWent for lunch recently. The cafe was packed but straight away we were shown to a table. Loved the decor and the very comfortable velvet chairs. Even though they were busy the service was quick and our waitress was very friendly. I got the potato and leek soup with wheaten bread. It was really nice and a big portion. I can see why they had lots of repeat customers!

57 High St, HolywoodTook mum today for a bit of lunch for mothers day (didnt get out on sunday). When we Walked in we were seated in minutes so no messing. Girl came and asked us did we want drinks and had we been before. As we hadn't she explained what a sharing roast was, and said they'd another menu. We chose sharing roast. Id picked the chicken starter and mum had the red pepper soup. Both outstanding although the mayo pot on my started was a bit small lol. Could have ate the mayo with a spoon. Then came the half honey roast chicken and the roast beef. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. It was absolutely beautiful. Also in cluded was a drink each of our choice. Start to finish it was a delight to have picked Alexander's for today. Will definitely be back and will definitely recommend to others... great value for money and great food

Unit 1, 70 Lesley Mews, Co Down, HolywoodI call in here on a fairly regular basis, at least once or twice a week.\nit will be familiar to anyone who has been in a chain coffee place in terms of coffee, food offerings and general feel, and of course to anyone who has been in any Nero before. \nThe staff here tend to be good and there is a great consistency to the service so it's always a pleasure. \nThe only drawback is there is a tendency for people in here to take up a seat before actually going to the counter and getting their coffee/food so there are times when after walking away with your order at busy times you might be lucky to get a seat with it !

Culloden Estate and Spa, 1 Cultra Station Rd, HolywoodGreat place to go to with your dog after a long walk on the beach. Good atmosphere with a number of other dogs in the bar. Food was good. There is a compulsory 10% service charge, so service staff do not have to try to hard!
