Extremely slow, staff are very poor and don’t provide good service. Its a very noisy place - no need for such loud music blasting above the noise of customers. The staff walk through you even though you’re standing behind other customers as it is so busy - this was just ignorant and shouldn’t happen. Not even an excuse me.Food was just okay, over priced for how basic it is. I Won’t return and I don’t recommend. There is a lot better elsewhere.Parking: Parking is a nightmareKid-friendliness: There is a kids “okay area” but it’s very close to other tables. The staff don’t take enough care round this area and walk into the kids. Perhaps this needs flagged as a health and safety concern.Wheelchair accessibility: Would be extremely difficult as everyone is crammed in and the tables block the way. The staff are so unhelpful they walked through people to get what they had to do. Not even saying excuse me. So I can’t see a person using a wheelchair being accommodated.

Big breakfast was pricey so I expected a lot. However, the mushrooms were stone cold and the baked beans had an unpleasant taste. For £14 this was nowhere near good enough.

The hot chocolate was excellent, although quite rich. The apple crumble Belgium waffles were absolutely delicious! I was very pleased and would definitely recommend giving this cafe a try.

Food was tasty if not piping hot, coffee was good, service was .... relaxed....

First and foremost, the absence of another employee seemed to significantly impact the smooth operation of the cafe. As a trial employee, I expected to have a mentor or supervisor guiding me through the learning process. However, I was left to figure things out on my own, often resulting in mistakes and a lack of productivity. This lack of support made it challenging for me to showcase my skills and demonstrate my potential value to the team. Moreover, the overall professionalism at Home Bird Cafe was severely lacking. There was a distinct absence of clear communication and organization among the staff.

Went for Sunday morning breakfast. Waitress v helpful. I ordered tea and croissant. Croissant very obviously shop bought and cold, quite greasy. My husband had Belgium waffles- so much sugar overload with synthetic cream. Don’t think we will be back. Decor however is good, although service s l o w.

3 of us went I for coffee. No soup or other specials left. Think because of bank holiday they wer not expecting to be busy. Got order wrong then had to wait ages 1st to take order then for it to arrive. Was pricey too. £18.45 for 2 coffee 1 tea a scone snd 2 traybakes. Was very tasty but not sure I would go back on a busy day.

This establishment used to be one of the great places to dine in Holywood, but have to say it has really gone downhill. The limited menu wasn't great, drinks arrived luke warm , and the wait for food was really long, Service wasn't that great either .

Food was incredible. Very friendly staff. Took a while to get ordered and get the food but overall a great place for a cup of coffee and a bite :)

Absolutely delicious breakfast. Came with family (2 adults, 2 kids) on a very busy Friday morning but were warmly welcomed and quickly shown to our table. Service by the attentive staff was friendly and very efficient. Lovely, relaxed environment with Weezer et al on the speakers. Great way to end a few days in Holywood. Highly recommended - will definitely be back.

Not friendly nor food value. Called in went to counter. Was watched by 3 staff as I approached. They then continued to converse whilst I stood at the counter a mere feet away. Eventually they decided to acknowledge me. Ordered a take away Sausage sandwich as they didn’t to a roll. Paid £7 for what was in essence 2 sausages in between 2 slices of bread. The sausages were like warm. The coffees were too hot and bitter. Whilst standing waiting I saw a girl approach with menu to order as nobody had bothered to attend to her table. There were enough staff to do all these things but as they were more interested in taking to each other , customers simply don’t count. Overall a terrible experience and I felt absolutely ripped off. I was expecting a little more than what I got for £7.

I was so disappointed with the Service and after such a long wait for our food it came served to us cold, really bad, dirty cutlery wasn't polished, tea not washed properly overall I wouldn't recommend this place to have lunch.
