Family meal for 8. We were seated in a lovely private corner which was very comfortable. All our mains went down well. I had goujons and garlic fries. We enjoyed the desserts - I had jam and coconut sponge with custard. Really friendly staff in a cute location. Will return! Thanks to everyone at the inn.

Fantastic food but far too long waiting for food, service staff not very efficient or friendly, table booked but not ready when we arrived, even though it was not overly busy, disappointing.

Was here for Sunday dinner, my second time! Good parking outside. Lovely cosy table beside the fire. Food was delicious and served with flare. Special shout out to Ronan and Nicole who made sure our table was served efficiently, with pleasant conversation and recommendations on food. Highly recommend the Old Thatch Inn and look forward to going back in a couple of weeks. This is most definitely my new favourite in Mid Ulster.

Terrible service food was lovely plates not lifted after main and dessert sat down beside if when I asked the girl to clean the table she slammed my plate in front of me I was embarrassedDon't think we will be back
Delightful thatched whitewashed cottage with very cosy interior. We had a really warm welcome and outstanding service. Our lunches all featured quality ingredients beautifully presented which we did enjoy. Most certainly this restaurant is excellent in every way and we will go back next time we are in Northern Ireland. Seamus Heaney is strongly featured and his museum is nearby. I strongly recommend this great restaurant.

A great find! Staff were excellent.... particularly grateful that staff were knowledgeable about and attentive to food allergies, portions were generous but just right, food really delicious and atmosphere relaxed. A great spot for family with two young children.

We are home from our recent family staycation in River Bann retreat! Thought we would leave some reviews on our experiences. Stopped into Thatch Inn by chance on the Sunday after hearing good things about the place, and got the best table in the house, right beside the t.v. for the Derry v Kerry match! Food was lovely, service was great and great atmosphere! Highly recommend the pepper sauce! Definitely be back!

Great food and the staff are great.Don't go without a lift home as no Taxi will come. Apparently they are black listed but no fault of the Thatch. Just local taxis are not interested in the fare.Great pub thoughParking: Poor taxi links
