Went here for breakfast , food, service, drinks were excellent and good value.Could add abit mor avocado on the toast it was light on it but tasted lovely.I would fill up the front seats first because the place looks closed when you walk past as when you've people sitting in the window seats it draws mor people in

Probably the worst sausage rolls I've ever had.

Unfortunately my most recent experience means I will not be back in this shop. Ordered food to take out for a colleagues leaving and to say that we were all disappointed is an understatement. The menu sounded delicious and good choice but the food was over cooked dry and unappetising- also way overpriced for what was got - although staff were friendly this just doesn’t cut it - food quality award definitely would not meet any standards

Nipped in for a couple of sausage rolls for my lunch while passing through. Way overpriced, nearly walked back out! £2.25 for a small measly flavourless sausage roll.Service was fine just overpriced, won't be back :)

Really nice place and staff are lovely. Unfortunately the down side is I have a really limited choice of foods being plant based. Hence I don't go there so often.

My main "go to" coffee shop in magherafelt. Their coffees are always perfect, great selection of buns and treats to have with coffee, and great food from their main breakfast and lunch menu. I've never had a bad experience, staff are always lovely and helpful and had a great atmosphere for a catch up and coffee with friends!

The first thing to note is that all of the staff here are wonderful - friendly, attentive and prompt. My main criticism would be regarding the cost of food set against quality and/or quantity. The standard of food (lunch/breakfast) does not come close justifying the relatively high prices, nor do the portion sizes.

I have been here twice in the last year and both times I'm sorry to say not impressed with the service, I think more staff training would improve customer experience. The order was taken down wrongly on both visits with no apology given. Therefore, tea was not brought with the coffee until I had to go and re-order it, and on the other occassion the wrong salads were put on the plate which my friend did not like . The 3 waitresses were standing chatting while our dirty lunch dishes were left on our table (they had actually brought the coffee&bun while our dirty lunch dishes sat piled up and did not take them!) I had to eventually ask for it to be cleared. My friend was also busy phoning around&stressing because she thought she had lost her new glasses.... low&behold the girls had cleared them away with the dishes and not even noticed!! Anyway, at £8.50 for a small chicken wrap with some lettuce on the side, and over £5 for a basic sausage roll with salad you really would expect better service. Unfortunately I will not be back.

Slightly over priced. Went in for a breakfast. All breakfast items priced separately at approximately £1.50 an item. My 7 items fry with tea cost £9.50.The bacon wasn't good. It was streaky bacon which had shrivelled up into nothing and those 2 bits cost me £3.

Went to the Olive Tree on recommendation. Even though the place was busy when we arrived with only one table left we were attended to straight away and seated with prompt service. We were friends meeting for a catch-up and when we were approached for our order naturally we hadn’t even looked at menu. Our server was so understanding and gave us loads of time. All our food was as delicious as expected.A small attention to detail which actually impressed me more than anything was the baby change facility. As a man there with his baby my child naturally decides to fill his nappy at the most appropriate time. When enquiring about anywhere that I could attend to my child the server advised that there was a change table in the male toilet. This was undoubtedly well thought out and so much more convenient to someone in my situation.Top marks to Olive Tree all roundGreat staff, lovely food, brilliant set up. Will certainly return here again
