“Classic seafood food in a Dundrum institution. Never fails to delight- the specials and fish of the day always deliver. Chowder and mussels pots are exceptional. We’ve eaten here every year for about 15 years, would never come to Dundrum without eating lunch or dinner here. Thanks for your super work folks!”

“Recently visited here for dinner as we were staying in the area and saw the reviews on google. Great location. Lovely staff. Food was great. I ordered the baby back bbq ribs with mash. Absolutely huge portion and the bbq sauce was incredible. I had a sex on the beach cocktail which was lovely as well. My partner ordered the curry. He said it was alright. Could have had more flavour. Very big portion as well. Played a game of pool too. Would recommend and would visit again. Thanks.”

“2 persons, great table with sea view. Lovely Sunday meal at 4 pm. Wonderful Seabass and delicious Turkey Roulade for main meal. Then 2 desserts, Apple Crumble and Choc brownie. All mouthwatering. Staff very attentive, speedy service. Haven't been here before, but will be back!! Gem. Great value too. ?”

“We had the loveliest evening at the Wild Hare and then the restaurant in the Avoca. We had excellent cocktails in the bar. We were there for the happy hour which was great! Our meal was absolutely delicious. The whole experience was made all the better by the staff who were ALL excellent and so friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend it for a night out or special occasion.”

“Donard Bar is a great place to have a drink. Their cocktail menu is impressive with unique creations along with a good amount of drafts available. The bartender carefully crafted each drink with precision. If you are looking for a good place to unwind, then stop by the Donard Bar.”

“Definitely expensive, but with live piano and posh surroundings, it’s really nice if you are staying at the hotel.They have 2 local gins here, Jawbox and Shortcross which are excellent.Bar is famous for Charlie Chaplan’s visit ages ago.”
