We had the most incredible evening with our whole family to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary. We will never be able to properly thank the brilliant team at The Old School House for giving us memories that we will never forget. The food was amazing, and the outstanding service from all the staff was Michelin 5 star !! Thankyou so much. Gary & Anne.

I have eaten at The old School House café several times over the past few months & what a find! They do the best Seafood Chowder I’ve ever had, accompanied by delicious homemade bread. I’ve tried several different dishes on the menu, including desserts & have never been disappointed.It’s so good to have such a great cafe (relatively close) to bring friends & family to when they are visiting.I’m always assured of a delicious experience ?

I would give it zero stars if I could. Out for a family dinner and for £53 even with the curry taken off the bill. Not worth a penny. I had a margarita pizza. All I can say is Asda's pizza is better. The tomato base had a sour aftertaste and the cheese just fell off. My mum had a half and half curry, barely any rice and 5 small pieces of chicken. My sister ordered the chicken supreme which was laughable, one potato gratin, the smallest piece of chicken and a trickle of sauce around the plate.Will not be back we left starving after waiting 40 minutes for our meal.

A very popular spot on the morning we visited. Good choice on the menu and we were very happy with the quality of the food. If we had one suggestion, it would be to provide iced water automatically at each table. We asked for this and the response in providing was slow. However, overall experience was very good and we would be happy to visit again.

Popped in for a small lunch, ended up feasting on the most delicious loaded fries and chicken wings I've ever had! Cannot wait to return and try some other dishes, although the loaded fries will be difficult to pass.Staff were friendly and attentive.

Busy Saturday, we were seated quickly and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Great range of choices at a good price and the food we had - signature burger for 1 and steak sandwich for the other were amazing. Every fresh and very tasty. Good sized portions as well. Would definitely recommend and just to emphasise again the staff were very welcoming and attentive.

Visited recently for a family meal 2 of my company where running late . Waitress was very understanding and nothing too much trouble. 3 of us had the steak sandwich which was delicious cooked exactly as asked for . Fish and chips delicious. Kids menu great selection clean plates all round ! Staff very pleasant and chatty especially with our 3 year old grand daughter . Rostrevor gin lovely and refreshing .looking forward to a return visit soon

I had breakfast on the terrace. The staff was super nice (spoke to three different people). The location is great and comfy. The eggs were good, the bacon (paid extra for it) was a bit stale and tough. The main issue is that it took 20 mins from ordering until I got the coffee, and another 10 mins until the food arrived. That delay was a bit too long to be honest. The price was fair for what I got
