Go here if you have a dog and order the hake. Perfectly cooked, creamy sauce and huge pile of mash. I gave 5 stars for rooms but only relating to the side bar and snug as we stayed elsewhere. The main restaurant looked really nice too. Staff lovely, big fire and steps away from Fairy Glen and Kilbroney Forest Park. Visited here as a couple for evening meal. Main restaurant looked lovely. We booked the snug or nook as that is where they accommodate dogs. Husband had the Rostrevor Burger and rated it very highly. I had the hake dish because of previous good reviews and I love fish. It was gorgeous. Flaked apart just perfect, creamy sauce and a big pile of mash. Would find it hard to order something different when I go again. The side bar allowed dogs, so we stayed on beside the fire. Lovely!...read full review

Just back from 3 nights over New Year's. Stayed in Room 2. Great huge bed. Toasty rooms and probably the best power shower ever had. Breakfast was tasty and filling. Fresh coffee, cooked breakfast. Loads of choice. Crawford's bar was cosy and music on both nights we went. Locals joining in the singing. Proper Guinness served. Poured halfway then allowed to settle. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Got parked right outside on all 3 nights. Definitely recommend.
