Had a breakfast bap here whilst involved in firefighting operation in a shop 2 doors up. Food was delicious and best of all, they fed the fire crew for free. Big thanks to the generous staff at Del Piero's for supporting the emergency services.

Visited last night with my family for dinner... I found waiting for an hour to be an unreasonable amount of time to wait for our meal.

Second really poor experience this evening. Extremely young staff that are friendly but show a complete lack of training. Food is never ready when your told it is and expected to wait another 20 minutes in store. I was able to drive to a competitor, order and receive my food by the time I was meant to collect from here. There was 1 table with two people so it's not like they where rushed off their feet.

AVOID!!!! Could do with a good clean, toilet stank! We called in 3 weeks ago and when my husband bit into his apple cake he found he was chewing on a Fingernail that had been baked into it.It was 2 young girls working behind he counter, who after inspecting the cake also agreed that it was in fact a fingernail. messages are being ignored. It’s been three weeks now and I’ve heard nothing.I will report to relevant agencies. But seriously DO NOT EAT HERE ?

I called for a takeaway for my daughter who is very particular about what she will eat. It was a fairly large order for 1 person costing £17. When I was passed the bag I had a queue behind me and no one with me to check everything was there so I asked the guy is that all of it and was assured it was. However when I got home some distance away my daughter informed me that there were items missing. I tried calling them numerous times but no one wold answer. Very disappointed in a takeaway that is expensive and in my opinion markets itself as a cut above the others.

In the last five visits I have been really disappointed. Every time I have made it clear that I wanted a regular hot chocolate, plain…nothing floating on it. On three occasions it was brought to me with cream and marshmallow. One occasion was correct. Today they took my money and then…..nothing. I had to ask again as it was forgotten about. Such a shame but I don’t intend to return. A regular customer from a near by business who will use another cafe from now on.

Food completely tasteless. The rubbery chicken in the kebab chip must have bounced in & bounced out again! Skinny fries smothered in a tasteless cheese. The mini chicken fillets were so dry & tasteless that I had to put salt and tomato sauce on them which I never do. The hotdog bun was cremated and again had no flavour whatsoever.

There's 3 Del Pieros in Ards, one in Conway Square, one in Regent St and one up at shopping centre. The one in the square just blasts indecipherable music non-stop, especially in the evenings. We've requested it be turned down but apparently they are not allowed. The food is unpredictable, the coffee lacks a coffee taste, in fact I thought I'd been given tea by accident, the staff in the one in the square are very nice though. Food, coffee and soft drinks vastly overpriced. Much nicer coffee in McDonalds at way less than half the price. Actually had a pizza that arrived soaked in butter! It has turned into the Burger King down at Tesco, very poor quality and I think that's probably because kids are left to run it.

Just really expensive and slow. Commented whilst paying that the order was expensive for what it was. I wasn't complaining, merely stating that I felt it was expensive. Her reply "well go somewhere else".

Never get your order right. Personally I wouldn’t go back but every few months the kids want to give Del Piero’s another try, and always end up disappointed. Last time, they wouldn’t even refund the items that were missing from our order.

Dropped in for 2 coffees and decided to get 2 sausage rolls and a fifteen between two. The fifteen would not have filled a small child. The sausage roll was very lonely on the plate alone.£17.60 ???Won't be back in a hurry

Served coffee in disposable cups, plastic knives and found the place in need of a good clean.

As someone in hospitality myself i don’t like to criticise other places as i know it can be hard but I can not justify the waiting times. I like the style of the building and the food itself is decent food and is good priced, it was what i expected from a place associated with being a diner. However, for two burgers me and my friend waited around 50 minutes. We were very tempted to leave and instead go to mcdonald’s after 30 minutes and infact other tables around us did get up and go. We were given no explanation or warning about the wait, and there was only a few tables in. I’m very aware they may have been busy with takeaways or understaffed but 50 minutes with no warnings or explanations is ridiculous and not worth it.

Have always received welcoming and friendly service. Great coffee! Nice atmosphere. A great selection of food and drinks.
